Number 6 Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 Would love him to sign another contract ASAP. Even if we don't go up I do feel he is again building something here, and would be happy for him to stay on.
MONreborn Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 I can't understand it or even try to explain it. Pearson as leicester manager just seems right. I trust him to do the best for the club, not just this season but for future years. I really hope we stick by him and create a bit of history with Pearson here. So far he has had 3 and a half seasons and done fantastic. I hope he has at least that much more. We've had too many managers in the past 10 years, and never want to go back to those days.

Haydos Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 With regards to player contracts....I don't like the idea of offering/requesting contracts mid-season. It probably happen a lot but can anyone point to any reasons why they shouldn't just be left to post season, whatever the situation?

Because other teams can approach players who's contract is expiring on a free on a pre arranged deal. Therefore Kasper and Wes could sign for another side in the new year for the following season for free.

Kitchandro Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 We need to stop harking back to old managers, the owners made a mistake with Sven, not all high profile managers will bring in such a poor group of players. At the moment I'm still indifferent to whether he stays or goes should we get promoted, I'm hoping that changes. Who's high profile? Who do you expect us to appoint?
hackneyfox Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 Why would I know who the owners may be thinking about, I'm just saying I think they should wait until the end of the season. If we get promoted we don't know what they plan to do,, spend a fortune and go for it or do a Blackpool and bank it all. Depends on whether Sven's time has scared them as much as it has many on here, we certainly don't want a repeat of that.
