Harry - LCFC Posted 12 November 2013 Posted 12 November 2013 Just watched the highlights again. I'm right, we were the better team. Count the chances DT, there's no other conclusion you can come to after watching them closely, we had more of the play but wasted it.

Silverdaz Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 The ref didn't do much wrong imo. 2 stupid yellow cars early on (Waz didn't touch their player, then Knockaert for 'dissent') but apart from that all I can criticise him for was being a bit pedantic and overly lenient towards Forest. To blame the ref for the defeat is mental. Your kidding arent you if Waz had connected it would of been a straight Red he was a very lucky boy for a two footed tackle
Silverdaz Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 Still maintain he's the most gifted player in the league. Most gifted player in the league hmmmmmm
Dan Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 Are you suggesting top 4 prem?? I doubt it but I refuse to rule it out yet. I think he's got serious potential. Most gifted player in the league hmmmmmm It's debateable but who's better?

Having more chances does not make you the better team, in my view, Harry. Those chances, as you rightly said, were not taken, where as F----t took theirs. That makes them more clinical. I thought they put their passes together a little better than we did. As I have said elsewhere, I see no reason to panic, and am sure that one bad day at the office, will be quickly rectified, as long as we take those chances by turning them into goals.

Fair enough, I suppose what I'm really getting at that is wasn't a disastrous result. Don't mind people disagreeing with me on whether we were the better side or not, just don't want people to make too much of a disappointing defeat. Thankfully most people seem pretty grounded about it all.

Dan Posted 14 November 2013 Posted 14 November 2013 Thomas Ince may be one Ince is a good shout but it's still largely up for debate for me, although to be fair to him he's got a fantastic goals/assists record.
