So did he not wear a poppy on his shirt, did he swap it or give it away?

I'd have thought his would raise a decent bid.

On one pf the photo's of the players celebrating at Watford, there wasn't a poppy on Wood's shirt... Might just be the angle, but I don't think it is.

Just rewatched the football league show, Knocky has a poppy on his.

It might be worth remembering a lot of players change shirts at half time, therefore the second half they just wear a normal shirt.

The bidding seems more organised than previous years where you had to email the club. My bids never happened that way. You at least have a chance now.

So how do they evade Paypal as a payment option then?

I thought anything listed now had to have paypal as an option as they owned the rip off money transfer company.

From reading the description you have to collect it from the ground, so I assume you hand over the dosh there.

I understand that but EBay Made the rule a few years ago that you had to include paypal in all your sales.

Maybe it's because it is for a charity, I don't know.

paypal want me to send proof of id before unlocking my account. came out of nowhere. I guess sone people have been ripped off using it. on a side note im gutted you have to collect the shirt. wouldn't mind one.

A huge 'thank you' to the bidders on this year’s Poppy Shirt Auction in support of the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal.

With the initial 19 auction lots now closed for bidding, we are delighted to announce that over £9,000 has been committed by successful bidders so far!

Winning bidders will be contacted in the coming days to arrange payment and collection/delivery, while unsuccessful bidders will have a second chance to get their hands on a Remembrance Fixture item.

Due to initial listing restrictions on the newly launched eBay page, Marcin Wasilewski’s match-worn shirt is set to be added to the page from 1 December.

A selection of other NON-MATCH-WORN items will also be made available soon, along with the Sellebrity match-worn shirts that will be auctioned off in support of the LCFC Foxes Foundation.
