tooney92 Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 For Christmas I'm planning to get ma dad a pair of home tickets, however not sure where the best place is in the kp for atmosphere? When I used to go it was the kop and the family stand is utter crap. However from my many years of lurking on this forum I've realised it could now be changing. Also I'm expecting some form of crap about not regularly attending matches from you 'loyal' city fans; im a student based in scotland, and my dad works shitty shifts so its been a while since we've been; infact I think it was a few seasons ago when we played Millwall at home. Thanks for your help!
Larry_LCFC Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 Best place for atmosphere in the KP? I'd say the car park.

Thanks for your help! The East Stand is always good for atmosphere if you can get close to the away fans for a bit of banter
Bayfox Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 Best place for atmosphere, that would be the pub, it seems we all leave our voices is there. As it stands, N Block or as close to L1 as you can get, if you want to listen to a drum. That or when you plan to go? Over the christmas games or later on, what about away tickets?

I dont know exactly because I need to get hold of my dads shift pattern when I go home (in a few days) but id either be aiming for the derby game (If the tickets arent sold out) or the bolton game preferably. Away games I havent really thought about tbh.
AjcW Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 I quite like being a bit of a C*** and going on the seat selector, picking the last two seats in the just the ticket section and sitting next to two people classed as being in the west stand and laughing at them paying about 8/10 quid more for exactly the same view lol On that last point... if you're just looking for a good view there isn't a bad seat really... if you're looking for atmosphere then there's some good suggestions above
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 East stand is pretty good, but nowhere is perfect.

Thanks for your help! K block. Not the Kop. LCFCFOX will tell you N Block though thats being eradicated. C block may be decent on 29th
hairy Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 the bolton game £10 a ticket if you get the mercury. Just avoid the seats near the half way line in either stand and you will be fine.

NathanBlueFox Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 L1 is the best, but you aint got a chance of getting a ticket there.... i sit in SK1, good atmosphere, brilliant view (ROW PP) and cheap
