Candidcamera Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 This is all in their own hands play for the contract and what's more important forget about it. Promotion is what they need to get their contracts.
cityfanlee23 Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 To be honest I wouldn't be too bothered if they All left...... Massively overrated by our fans all of them, bottle jobs all of them.... I'll keep supporting them though but wouldn't be too fussed if we even for a new manager with fresh ideas....

We arguably should have won today and you call them bottle jobs? New manager. From now on your points are null and void. You clearly no **** all.

I didn't say sack anyone, I said I wouldn't be bothered if they left as there are plenty of players who could do a job if we fail to get promoted... Don't start all this "you know nothing" shite. Some of the bullshit you come out with. Most people on this forum have forgotten more knowledge than you posses. We're not good enough to go up automatically. Playoffs at best said it all season and this slump when it matters proves this, we have been saying since the day the fixtures were released December is the crunch month for us. And now look at us, no passion. Qpr next and I pray to god it sparks something.
MooseBreath Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 If the thinking is that we'll lose these players because FFP dictates we must offer them reduced terms which they will not accept, where are they going to go? The likes of Wes and Nugent aren't stepping up to the prem any time soon. With FFP in full swing we will have among the highest budgets in the championship. The only clubs with significantly more spending power than us will be the relegated ones, and they'll have a huge pool of players to choose from at the end of this season as well as their existing ex-premiership squad. I just can't see where an obvious better deal is going to come from for some of these players.
wattolcfc Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 The only one I'd put money on staying is Dyer, he loves the club, the city and is probably on a decent wage with FFP in mind.

Agree - you have the relegated clubs who can pay decent wages then it is clubs like us with a decent sized turnover without the parachute payments. Wes will presumably stay or go to Derby or back to forest (assuming he likes living where he does). I can't see there being a huge wage difference across those clubs. Any other club would probably be a step down for Dyer so I can see him staying.
