shade Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 Did Thracian just suggest Billy McKay would be a better option than Knockaert? Crikey he's lost it sadly.
foxfanazer Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 The simple fact is we're not clinical enough up front to get away with mistakes that we're making defensively.

indierich06 Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 It's really frustrating because for years we have been starved of creativity and now we have it in abundance but can't profit from it The problem is, if you want to get a clinical striker in this league now, you have to pay through the nose for it (Charlie Austin for example), otherwise you have to rely on cheaper players, or take a risk on free transfers or loans. Feels like the missing jigsaw piece for us at the minute.
MC Prussian Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 he's lost it sadly. Not completely. I just don't see how he can compare an attacking midfielder/centre forward with a striker. They're obviously different roles and require a different appeoach. And praising Billy McKee for his recent goalscoring record for a weak team in a weak league is nothing new for Thracian. He is to the Youth Academy what Don Corleone is to his famiglia.
