A Lesson To Learn Perhaps

It'd be good if someone could stick in here the quotes for the score predictions for Forest at home and Wednesday away.

Then read this- particularly from page 8

http://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=294669&start=70

Then work out which of us are the recent PL Champions on the back of thrashing the top of the league.

I could make my point much better I know but I think anyone with half a brain cell will get my gist.

I get it. They don't think it'll be an easy ride as some neutrals would think, especially if they don't know their starting squad either. It gives the tie a bit more intrigue with such important games either side for both clubs.

Maybe they just have a forum where people with common sense only can sign up?

Was talking to a City fan in the pub on Saturday (we were both obviously playing around the same time)... He was saying it should be a good, close game. I was trying to say I thought they'd hammer us (reverse psychology ;)) and I'm usually wrong when I predict.

It will be tough though. I know they arn't as good away from home, but even their 'b side' has a good amount of quality.

Possibly so Bert! I just find some of our predictions for some of our league matches utterly embarassing and you just know they're asking to end up with egg on their faces. All too often our fans expect us to wipe the floor against teams in our league with scant regard for how football can play out.

Then you have the former PL champions, a division above us, on the back of spanking arsenal and beating Munich who are seemingly quite cautious about tomorrow.

Some predictions are way off the mark and they don't really take in to account the opposition anyway, or any threat the opposition might have. Blind optimism in some parts.

I think Man City fans are cautious because they're probably expecting many changes to their squad; some players to be included who you can count on one hand how many games they've played this season. I like how they may not have Zabaleta playing. Dyer vs Richards could be a good contest (if they both play).

Richards is injured I thought.

I wouldn't call it optimism more blind arrogance. I've heard, 'we should be beating teams like Wednesday' all too often. I've not read that once on Citeh's forum about us. Not that the above quote is at all arrogant but there are some on here who say far worse than that.

The fact is that Man City absolutely SHOULD be beating us, no doubt about it. I also don't think it's arrogant to think that a team at the top of league should be beating a team at the bottom of the league either. These teams are where they are in the league because of how they've performed. Do you think Arsenal fans don't think they should be beating Crystal Palace?

Its a score prediction thread 95% of the comments are arrogant because the majority support Leicester and the thread isn't really taken serious.

It's going to be one of two things tomorrow 7+ or a tight game with us coming through as the winner.

To join up to their forum you're required to answer a question about Negredo's nationality.

Perhaps if we asked members to state the nationality of Leon Crncic, we could be on to a winner.

It's now worse than how other fans do though.

I'm pretty sure that would prevent most Leicester fans from signing up too though? :dunno:
