AndWhat? Posted 18 December 2013 Posted 18 December 2013 Yeh. Not trying to blow our trumpet but we generally do go at it for most of the 90 every game. I don't think I heard L1 other than the first five minutes last night. Beginning to wonder if it's acoustics or if it is just quiet. Yeh it wasn't too bad up there and there was more than normal up there standing/singing, a bit like Forest. Amazed how poor the rest of the ground, namely the Kop was. Nah last night was just shit in L1. I personally think the Kop is a sinking ship (If not already sunk)
AnotherShitSeason Posted 18 December 2013 Posted 18 December 2013 Lacklustre fans who increasingly don't seem to give a shit. Lacklustre players who increasingly don't look like they give a shit. Day trippers munching sandwiches who don't like noise or anyone shouting / standing near them. A drummer that doesn't drum. When he does all I see it away fans laughing that we need it. Everyone excited about a cruise singer singing at half time. Birch/Stringer/Youngy etc climbing over each other to get involved & gush with praise. Being mocked for a half arsed Poznan. G R I M.

You've hit that nail on it's head
davieG Posted 18 December 2013 Posted 18 December 2013 Filbo had nights worse than any I've seen at the kp, many of you are just remembering it as it was during one of our golden eras, MON something we've not had at the kp. The fact that we went behind early coupled with we no longer get behind the team that's losing contributed to the lack of atmosphere as much as the make up of the crowd. Have you not noticed the crowd is much more vocal at league games when the ref is seen to be a bastard in the black then when we're actually winning. If the much sought after 20k crowd were as vocal when there's 30k there then it would still be as noisy.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 18 December 2013 Posted 18 December 2013 I saw it as a training session for our boys and 30,000 fans will give us some much needed revenue for the coffers!!

Bayfox Posted 18 December 2013 Posted 18 December 2013 Not a dig, but what is the official definition of 'tinpot' and where did originate from? Ps, the atmosphere was s***. definition of tinpot. singing shes one of our own to an essex girl.
Corky Posted 18 December 2013 Posted 18 December 2013 Pointless game sandwiched between two of the most important games of our season. And yes this is not hindsight I've been saying it all along, **** the cup. A full house show up for a throw away game but when we needed the fans on Saturday there were 10,000 empty seats, and it was a fans fixture. I wish I understood it all I really do. Pointless game and cup? Yeah, sure. The best game down there this season and the best atmosphere was Fulham. Beat all the league games for drama, excitement and the crowd getting behind the team.
