Walker Posted 23 January 2014 Posted 23 January 2014 Which did you go out of interest? Went to Boro, Carlisle, Donny and Sheff Weds. So to be fair that's probably not enough to have a fair reflection on our overall support...

Carlisle wasn't too bad. Other two promised a lot and delivered a little. Don't like the way 95% of even our away end shuts up the second we go behind.

Middlesbrough improved second half imo, along with the performance.
Walker Posted 23 January 2014 Posted 23 January 2014 Looking at the fixtures, I think pretty much every away game from now on has potential to be fun. All massive away ends bar Bournemouth..

There were perhaps every row bar the front 4 that were stood yet it didn't seem that good to me. The singers were too spread out across the stand
lcfc531mellors Posted 23 January 2014 Posted 23 January 2014 Hi, new member here and first post ... been to only six away games so far this season (and somehow managed to see us lose five times!) - Derby, Charlton, Doncaster, Sheff Wed, Brighton and Stoke - and have to say that probably the best atmosphere was at Derby and Stoke, Derby maybe because we won and Stoke because their support seemed to be so poor.

That is unbelievably unlucky Stoke was the best this season for me. Derby, Stoke, Charlton, Blackpool, QPR, Watford (apparently) were all very good. We're far from the level I'd like to see us at but we're a step up from last year where the majority were utter wank. I think they'll get better as this season goes on, if it stays this way anyway.

I feel your pain. It took me 12 attempts to see Leicester win an away game (Derby 2004, Lillian Nallis and Trevor Benjamin scored our goals)
Richard Posted 25 January 2014 Posted 25 January 2014 Had to sit in the home end for that derby game. Torture

It took me 12 attempts to see Leicester win an away game (Derby 2004, Lillian Nallis and Trevor Benjamin scored our goals) I went on a similar run when I started doing aways in 2004, this year has been such a breath of fresh air, seen 5 wins this season and 2 defeats. Taken the plunge and booked train for this, serves me right if I don't get a ticket!
