Walker Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 Not the end of the world really. If away games are going to be moved I think 12.15 Saturday is the most ideal...
MGLCFC Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 Got a decent record this season with 12.15 televised games.
Dan Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 Not the end of the world really. If away games are going to be moved I think 12.15 Saturday is the most ideal... I raise you 5:20
Unabomber Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 Doesn't bother me as I will now watch it on tv. I have been to Burnley before and have no intention of returning, I feel a little for the fans going though as a 3pm kick off is much better for them.
Walker Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 I raise you 5:20 Hmmm but 12:15 means you have the whole day to do what you want? Less drinking time is the only downside I think? Sometimes 5:20 are a bit awkward for trains or if you have plans in the evening. I guess either are okay though tbh, annoying it obviously reduces our following.
Bert Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 On the other hand, though, booking well in advance means you get cheaper train rates to some destinations. Not surprised it was moved either but there can be significant differences in booking fairly early. Catch 22 I guess. Pay cheap early and take the risk or if you can afford it, wait til nearer the time and pay extra. Yeah of course. But, the game is still a couple of months away so there still should be reasonable amounts of time to get cheap tickets for the train.
Bert Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 I raise you 5:20Depending on location could be a pain in the arse to egg back from but I tend to agree.
deejdeej Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 Probably for the best, means we get to leave that hellhole a bit earlier.
Kitchandro Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 We should sell out regardless really. It's going to be an absolutely huge game. People should be desperate to go to matches like this.
Leicesterpool Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 I can imagine QPR at home being moved aswell?
Harry - LCFC Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 We should sell out regardless really. It's going to be an absolutely huge game. People should be desperate to go to matches like this. Quite. Possibly a top two clash late in the season, it's only games like Forest away that are more important than this in the league.

Sometimes 5:20 are a bit awkward for trains or if you have plans in the evening. I guess either are okay though tbh, annoying it obviously reduces our following. The game itself is the main thing for me and early kick-offs are nearly always flat atmosphere wise whereas I'd say it's the total opposite for 5:20.
Simmo86 Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 Quite. Possibly a top two clash late in the season, it's only games like Forest away that are more important than this in the league. In the current situation this will be more important than Forest away.
Matt Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 Hmmm shame this because I fancied going, espcially seeing as it looks like it'll be a big game, although my mates have said money is abit tight (Albeit saying this 2 months ahead of the game) and they might not be up for it so at the same time it's a good thing I guess.
Harry - LCFC Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 In the current situation this will be more important than Forest away. I meant the Forest away of last season, although even then you could argue that that was less important than our fixture against Burnley. Hoping for a big allocation and the demand for tickets this game deserves.
Voll Blau Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 Blue Army invasion of Blackpool by mid-afternoon then?

Hoping for a big allocation and the demand for tickets this game deserves. With it being on TV and a fair old trek, I would be gobsmacked if we took 3k.
Leicesterpool Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 With it being on TV and a fair old trek, I would be gobsmacked if we took 3k. I don't think we'd be allowed to take anymore than 2k to be honest, Burnley is a small town and I don't think the local constabulary would like the idea of anymore than 2k away fans roaming around and the type of fixture its going to be.
Fox92 Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 Wasn't planning on going anyway, been Burnley once before and not excited about another visit. Planning on the other two Lancashire games that month instead, Wigan and Blackburn.
Simmo86 Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 Wigan could be epic. Cheap tickets and massive allocation!
