The whole world smiles Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Well you've lost your bet then haven't you, and it was like you posted a whiney reply, your reply could not be more whiney, and if it was supposed to be funny or tongue in cheek you've fallen very far from the mark, I think the words I'd probably use are "cringworthy unfunny and embarrassing". You've made a royal clown out of yourself and a lot of people are laughing at you. Well done. My original post was not supposed to be "funny or clever", it was supposed to be derogatory towards the women in question (which I've quite clearly achieved) as I can't stand kiss and tells at the best of times never mind when they've stooped to the level of that twat has managed. I didn't want to be a pr*ck about it and keep mentioning your daughter and I was winding down my argument (like I said life is to short) but really it is you that has made yourself look a 'royal clown' and a hypocrite you have basically admitted that you would post things in the public domain that you would not say in front of your daughter. So its ok for other peoples daughters to read them?

Are you that stupid you don't realize that people act differently and say different things in different situations. As I've already told you, if my daughter was to come on here I'd expect her to read comments like that and worse, Christ if she was inclined to come on here I'd guess she'd be going to the football where she'd be hearing stuff ten times as bad, so yes, it is fine, it's a football forum, It's ladish, it can at times even be a little immature. You're all immature. No I'm not you are.

No I'm not you are. well some people on hear laugh at flying lawnmowers next to giant gorilla heads and Paul Gallagher tweeting that he's going to smash hayley's back doors in so not going to lose any sleep over that this will be my last post on the matter as the longer this goes on the more embarrassing it is for both of us, i'll let you have the last patronising word on the on the matter because I can see your desperate for it. Up the City!
MC Prussian Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 I'm not standing up for the woman in question in the original article its just some sh*t non story in a tabloid rag what I took issue with was your language and tone. If you'd have read the article at your mums house (In front of her) or say at the breakfast table in front of your daughter when she's a bit older would you have responded to it like this "Stupid cow. Not even worth the Nandos. Fair play to him I say. he couldn't even be bothered to slam it". If the answer is as I suspect no then why post it in an internet forum because as you quite rightly pointed out half the population are female and likely to read your words. So, in essence - you're complaining about the language and tone of a discussion based on an article in the yellow press, but you don't mind the tabloids and their level of stupidity, the audience they cater to and their use of language in their publications themselves? Tell me this - aren't you contradicting yourself there and/or being slightly hypocritical? Shouldn't you be off going after tabloids and the people selling their souls to appear in one of their issues? Besides, the point here is: Why would he want to read that post out loud at home in the first place? Just so you can have a go at trying to create some sort of guilty conscience? Half of the entire population or the world are female, correct. Whether the regular readers on here are 50% female is a purely subjective claim. Just as much as me saying that the vast majority on here are actually male (and believe me, I've been here for quite a while, including others - so I'm probably a bit closer to the truth).
Darkon84 Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Quite frankly I can't believe what i'm reading is someone who just called me a "big gay baby" moments later sarcastically calling me incredibly mature? It's actually an insult from quite a popular film that I'm sure many people on here would get or chuckle at. I'd suggest you perhaps give it a wide berth though as the language and tones in 'In Bruges' may offend you and cause to have some form of breakdown.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Sorry I've not posted much recently everyone, I've been too busy smashing The Whole World Smiles' back doors in after seducing him with plenty of LADish banter and LAGER BEERS while we watch itv4 and enjoyed the motorsport pre-race track treacles. In his words, not mine - "OOOOOOOMMMMM, TITS."

Guest Bilo Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Just got onto this thread after spending the last couple of hours hanging out the back of some Doris. I made it pay for its taxi home, the filthy beast.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 How have I missed this? If you want to stand up for women like that then.....well "fair play" your doing women in general more of a disservice by condoning that sort of behavior. I on the other hand can see it for what "t is, money hungry fame seeking slag who deserves everything she gets after selling a complete non story about a young lad who hasn't done anything to deserve it. You've got the middle class town part right, Ashby De La Zouch although I think I've been out in Leicester about 3 times so wrong there, and I'm normally too drunk for a kebab after a night out so no danger of me using it as a substitute for a box of Kleenex. There are normally loads of "birds" in places I go out in, what with 50% if the population of England being female this is not usually something I find unusual however. Being in a long term relationship and having a young daughter however (that's right, a daughter, god help her growing up with me and my "ladish" views like don't sell yourself out to footballers and newspapers and actually make something of yourself using your brain, I fear for her) the days of chasing them are long gone. You absolute bell end PS Nothing wrong with the inbetweeners, funny show. I <3 Ashby
