Carl the Llama Posted 30 January 2014 Posted 30 January 2014 Unlikely, but I hope I can resurrect this thread some time in May. ) You're welcome to 2nd, mate. Please, I can't stand QPR and Land Rover 'Arry.
lancyclaret Posted 30 January 2014 Posted 30 January 2014 You're welcome to 2nd, mate. Please, I can't stand QPR and Land Rover 'Arry. I think it will have to be the play-offs for us - we need a couple of quality players in midfield as there is lack of ingenuity. Brighton and Sheffield Wednesday "parked the bus" in the last 2 home games and we had to settle for draws. We are still hard to beat but are drawing too many to make automatic promo.
Harry - LCFC Posted 30 January 2014 Posted 30 January 2014 I really want them to get that second spot. QPR, while better than they were, are still going about it the wrong way. Would be much better for football if hard-working, honest Burnley went up instead.
Tringfox Posted 30 January 2014 Posted 30 January 2014 Keep an eye on Reading second half of the season.....best price 11-2 to be promoted!!
Guest MattP Posted 30 January 2014 Posted 30 January 2014 20/1 are long odds in a 3 horse race They look good but let's be honest they aren't going to win it. You'd be daft to back it just before they have QPR away as well. Even if they win which is unlikely they'll still be 16/18's after that. That said, it's certainly not the worst bet posted in this forum since the end of last season.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 30 January 2014 Posted 30 January 2014 I would prefer burnley to get promoted over QPR, mainly because I would like to see the sh*t storm that would descend upon loftus road if they don't go up
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 30 January 2014 Posted 30 January 2014 20/1 are long odds in a 3 horse race Not when you give one a good head start
Beliall Posted 30 January 2014 Posted 30 January 2014 I would prefer burnley to get promoted over QPR, mainly because I would like to see the sh*t storm that would descend upon loftus road if they don't go up same here, but because we'd need the 6 points off them in the prem

Except for a shocking draw at home against Burnley! 😜

Except for a shocking draw at home against Burnley! Shocking draw against Burnley?) None of the top 6 have beaten us yet - 1-1 AT Leicester and Forest, won 3-0 at Derby, 2-0 and 2-1 home wins against QPR and Reading, Unlike Derby, who have NO wins against the top 6, we tendto drop points against lower mid-table teams like Bournemouth, Watford and Bolton (three home draws)
AnotherShitSeason Posted 30 January 2014 Posted 30 January 2014 Are they 40/1 for the drop? 750/1 via Ladbrokes.
Collymore Posted 30 January 2014 Posted 30 January 2014 Does that mean they'll be about 5/1 each way? That could be a cracking bet!
