Lionheart Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 The record in England is 14 consecutive wins held by Man Utd,Bristol City,Preston & Arsenal. Is it possible on current form that we could get to that figure, thoughts.
TJB-fox Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Lets focus on getting the championship one first, game by game.
Xen Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Watford @Forest Ipswich Charlton @Wigan All tough games. I wouldn't bank on reaching 14.
Jimothy Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Let's beat Watford today first, or we have no chance of beating it. Of course we have a great chance of matching or beating it, better than anyone else in the country right now, but until we get to 13 I'm not even thinking about it. Technically ... we lost to Stoke. It's a league record.
Captain... Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 I think we had this discussion on another thread and it was established that the second tier record was 10 so that is within reach. But one game at a time all of this becomes academic if we don't win today.

Libertine Dream Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 I think the modern record was 10, all the second tier 14s were set prior to the 60s
shailen Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Although it would be nice to break records, the most important thing is that we win the league from the position we are in. That's all that matters from here on
