Toffee_Fox Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 I've asked the owners permission and been given the go ahead to post about it, as most of you know I've been doing a bit of charity work with some close friends etc. You can read the story behind why I am doing this here or if you want to donate a few pound to help us reach the target which would open a new Child Bereavement centre locally, as currently the nearest one is 45 miles away, its a facility and resource that should be on offer in most cities and towns. I am expecting a few items from Leicester so will just continue to use this thread if possible. We run auctions via twitter however we can't always access the target audience needed, some items do really well and some not so much however I've not been allowed to promote anything on club forums (hence why LCFC are so great) Anyway, we currently have David Nugents match worn signed boots (they are personalised with DN35 and both boots are signed) - These have a current top bid of £150 on them, these end 8pm on Sunday. We also have have a voucher for a 'Behind the scenes all access stadium tour for 4 people' which can be any age, children or adults, there is no set date for this (bidding closes Sunday 9pm) If you're interested in bidding for either item just leave an amount here and we will keep you updated with the profess.

Will keep on eye on the items and see if anything stays at a price I could afford. If not I'll slip a few quid through the just giving page. They are just done through twitter on the @cbukauction account, only Moore shirt is currently on auction, the rest will go on with time as we don't like to clog it up, if people don't have twitter they can bid on this thread no problem and I can keep people up to date. If we use things like ebay then we are charged final fees and all sorts so the charity loses out, plus by doing it through just giving we've been able to gain a lot of gift aid on top of the auction prices! Current item up for auction, at £75, ends on Saturday night
