StanSP Posted 27 February 2014 Posted 27 February 2014 Any home match. Love starting the season at home. KP Stadium will be absolutely rocking if it we got off to a winning start as well.
fuchsntf Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 Dont care why bother.Too many people even now analysing the possible negatives and dysecting probabilties...... Enjoy the promotion celebrations first, Put your scarfs away then go on your summer hols, and any marriage parties. Then play cricket in between.Tell your girlfriends and wives walking through the fields enjoying the barmey evenings and singing grasshoppers, how much you love them. Gratefully take a few cold pints and ploughmans lunch each sunny weekend. THEN finish any chores left over, bring those girls out into the backyard with a well presented barbecue and a cool glass of wein, whisper gently in her ear, that 'that part of the year' is just around the corner, and that you love her more than anything, but you will again be going away on saturdays and some Wednesdays.Wipe her tears, then go into your cupboard, just to confirm the scarf and first games tickets are still there.Get the gargling powder out and practice your first football Chants in front of the mirror. Work hard and well before that special day, just to make sure and for future mistakes, buy your wife/girlfriend a bunch of flowers (dont nick them from the graveyard or joes allotment)..... Then take that long awaited walk, chest out face full of pride as you look down the road and see glinting in the sun, the reason why you got up that morning..The KP stadium..... ............then.........then......then.......................... Embrace that first game of the season........and breath in the atmosphere of the new Premiership, yes the Premiership season AND FOR GODS SAKE.....enjoy the ride..
CPW22 Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 Hull City at home, not even sure why. Either way a home game first.
deanolegend1989 Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 Liverpool at Home or Man Utd away would be great on a sunny day. What I actually wouldnt want is a 'easy' home game..because if we dont win it could start a downward spiral. Although saying that I wouldnt want a first 6 with all hard games. Something like this would be nice: Liverpool(H) Villa(A) Hull(A) Stoke(H) Man Utd(A) C Palace(H)
Langston Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 Stoke away - 9-0 win and Wasyl to break Charlie Adam / Ryan Shawcross / Robert Huth / Glenn Whelan / Any or all mentioned.
