Union FS Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 It is our understanding that season ticket details will be released at some point in March. The prices of course have not yet been announced but are apparently 'fair' whichever division we find ourselves in next season.Unfortunately that does not give us much time to get ourselves organised in SK1. We must be ready when the details are released so that we mobilise quickly and take up our target area as soon as possible.Over the next fortnight, we hope to liaise with the Club in order to temporarily reserve the area exclusively for Union FS members which would buy us some time and give more people the opportunity to try the area out before deciding to make the move on a permanent basis whether you are a current or prospective season ticket holder. In the event that these negotiations be unsuccessful, we cannot stress enough the importance of being quick to take your seat in the block for next season. Promotion is expected to bring about an increase in season ticket numbers by between five and six thousand - some of which will inevitably be in our area.In the meantime, please continue to spread the word among the most vocal fans you know and get involved in every home game from now to season's end. We will be there. If you want to play a part in the block next season, join us at Union FS. E-mail us at [email protected]
AndWhat? Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 Would be amazing if the club helped with this and reserved some seats for you guys. I will definitely be getting my season ticket in your section.
CPW22 Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 Is this only for exsisting ST holders? Or do you want those buying an ST next season to also make contact?
Union FS Posted 4 March 2014 Author Posted 4 March 2014 Is this only for exsisting ST holders? Or do you want those buying an ST next season to also make contact? To clarify: this is for existing and prospective season ticket holders. Please get in touch if this applies to you. Original post to be edited to reflect this.
Dan Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 I'm already there so no move required, but I highly doubt they'll reserve the block for us as we weren't the only ones there. I saw a couple of blokes who often sit down right near us and they seemed to be taking part and enjoying it though, which is a good thing.

Is your season ticket actually in the block we were in on Saturday or over in the corner more? I think our main priority for next season is getting a core of about 100 season tickets holders in a solid block, even if that means relocating to a seat only 10 seats away from your current one.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 I shall be moving permanently next season also, I sit in SK1 currently but normally just walk up there to join people, Charlton at home was very good

Soup Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 Anyone looking at moving for next season would be better relocating now. When new season tickets are released there wouldn't be a made dash for them as your seat would held for at least 4-6 Weeks or maybe more, this is usually the case anyway

You know what, I'm actually not sure I've just been to the same little bit every season, right on the edge (I require this) row LL. But mine definitely comes in SK1 at the back somewhere. I've got to admit I will be amazed if LCFC agree to give us that block.

Kitchandro Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 I'm almost certain the club will not reserve seats, and that's fair enough really. I haven't got a season ticket yet so I hope it's not full up by the time I get a chance to get one.
Guest Bilo Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 I rather enjoyed the academic rigour and constructive nature of this retort. Tell me, what do you feel is the best solution to the crisis in the Crimea? Crimea River is not a valid response.
Bert Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 Season tickets are now going to be available via the new website that's being launched on Friday on the direct debit scheme too. If you all sign up on the same day you can effectively make it your own block. Then as the word spreads and more people want to join, they can just latch onto it. This might sound a bit strange but maybe even hold a little event where you can all get together so you can all get as close together as possible?
stillwater Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 What rows and seat numbers are you talking about then?

Do you know if they will be released on Friday, Bert? Or do you just mean that when they are released it will be via the new online system?

I'm guessing current ST holders will have a period of reserve?

I would've thought that you could move to any free seat if you wanted to? If the relocation would be free (i.e. from another block in the Kop, or a more expensive block somewhere else in the ground) I guess it's better to be safe than sorry and do it ASAP.
