Bob Weasel Fox Posted 21 March 2014 Posted 21 March 2014 Remember when we were ecstatic to get two wins on the trot? Was just thinking this the other dayWhat a difference now
South fox Posted 21 March 2014 Posted 21 March 2014 Phillips didn't break the oldest player record, he broke the oldest goalscorer record. Joe Calvert still holds the record for the oldest ever Leicester player. Most league wins in a season was Doncaster with 33 in 1946-47. 9 wins out of our last 12 games and we'll equal this, 10 and we'll beat it. I found this onlineRecord Breaking Phillips Posted: Mon 03 Feb 2014 Author: Leicester City Kevin Phillips Image by: Plumb Images City’s match-winning striker Kevin Phillips wrote his name into the history books on Saturday afternoon as he became the Club’s oldest-ever goal scorer, surpassing the great Arthur Chandler. Phillips came off the bench against AFC Bournemouth to score in the 81st minute with a header that just crept over the line, handing City a 1-0 win and their ninth straight victory in the league, which is a record in itself. At 40 years and 191 days, Phillips’ phenomenal scoring feat was marked with a typically good-humoured ‘zimmer frame’ celebration at the Goldsands Stadium, but the records may not end there. If he features against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on 15 February, Phillips will surpass Chris Powell’s record as the Club’s oldest-ever outfield player

Joe Calvert was a goalkeeper. Calvert played for us aged 40 years and 313 days, and unfortunately Kev will get to that age towards the end of May. Would be great if NP gave him five minutes in a match at the start of next season: or maybe we could ease up a bit and get to the playoff finals on 26 May.
LanguedocFox Posted 21 March 2014 Posted 21 March 2014 Three more wins to break the record (from League 1) of 27 wins in a season A City anorak's delight: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Leicester_City_F.C._records_and_statistics

kingcarr21 Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 Think we have beaten our record for away wins in this league now ? Can someone confirm ? Also 19 unbeaten steak best ever at this level I prefer when its been beaten and tenderised then cooked Rare (or even blue, the more blood the better)
surrifox Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 I think we have scored at least one goal in 27 games on the trot - not too shabby
Sampson Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/league-championship/2013-2014/current-sequences/full It's 24 games league without failing to score. http://www.statto.com/football/teams/leicester-city/records The club record is 31 which we'll equal if we score in every game from now until the end of the season.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 I prefer when its been beaten and tenderised then cooked Rare (or even blue, the more blood the better) Sorry to be a pedant but there is usually only trace amounts of blood found in meats (this is drained prior to distribution). The red juice in a steak is just myoglobin.
