GorlestonFox Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 Has anyone seen Bakayogo play? Surely NP wouldn't be getting rid of him already?
Agent Fox Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 as u know we can only have 25 players in the prem should we get there i think nigel would be looking at 2 keepers 2 for each position and 3 utility men now for me should kasper stay i really dont think logan is a decent number 2 and we should look to bring in another keeper also im worried about konch i think maybe he will be back up for schlupp who can also play lm or lw or st bakayogo to go rb tbh i think with de leat there and moore as back up we are ok cb morgan, wassa, moore bring in one more and let st ledger go midfield this is a tough one drinky and james to stay but i think nigel should bring in a a quality hard man for cdm and a quality playmaker this then gives him options for a 41212 should he want or to give us that bit of quality. james ,drinkwater and king to stay and sign 2 more danns, gallagher and hammond to go wings dyer, knockeart and mahrez and bring in one more for the left strikers personally i would only keep vardy and nugent let waghorn, wood and taylor fletcher go so for me i would sell or release logan bakayogo st ledger danns gallagher hammond waghorn wood NO taylor fletcher NO that gives us still a core team of 15 players kasper de leat/ cover moore morgan, wassa, moore schlupp/konch drinkwater/james/king knockeart/mahrez dyer cover schlupp vardy/nugent cover schlupp so nigel could bring in 10 players and not affect the main squad id like to see a hard man style cdm and a playmaker with another fast striker and a target man your thoughts
bluesbrothers Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 I don't get the circlejerk about Logan not being good enough. Frankly, we've barely seen him, and he's hardly looked incompetent when we have done. I don't see why we need to shell out on a new keeper when he's happy to be here. It'd be a waste of money if Kasper stays.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 I doubt there is any PL player who can occupy the bench as well as Logan... Is it true he had to have surgery to separate him from the bench?
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 Your allowed as many players as you want under the age of 21. They must be under the age of 21 before the 1st January that season. Therefore Moore and Schlupp would not be eligible but future signings may be As I understand it, it's 1st January the year of the start of the season, so players born on or since 1st Jan 1993 will not count towards our 25 man squad. That's basically Moore, Hopper and Cain, plus other potential youth players who make the step up.
Guest Col city fan Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 I genuinely think there will be very few changes and additions. If you are looking for an exciting summer of City bringing-in a whole host of top players for monopoly money, forget it IMO. There will be one or two in key positions I reckon, and it will be interesting what transfer fees are paid. But the Pearson way is gradual, don't change an awful lot, keep the solidarity. I also think he's pretty loyal to those loyal to him. Conrad is quite a popular character at the club, apparently has a good sense of humour and has been happy to bench-sit. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he is retained as the number 2.
LAprice_ Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 Has anyone seen Bakayogo play? Surely NP wouldn't be getting rid of him already? I've seen him a couple of times and to be perfectly honest, he didn't look great... He's 4th choice left-back for Leicester, behind Konchesky, Schlupp and Miquel. I hate to sound harsh but DeLaet, Moore and Dyer are all more likely to start at LB than Bakayogo.

Logan has been at the club now since 2001 and in that time the following managers have come and gone dave bassett micky adams craig levein rob kelly megson holloway pearson 1st time sousa sven pearson 2nd time and everyone of those has decided to go with another keeper ,if it was me i would want to leave before i am to old to even have a career . all those managers must have rung alarm bells , maybe hes just about the money
Finn Claw II Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 Hull have bought 11 or 12 players this season (I think a couple were already on loan) and most people think they have focused on quality. 10 players is certainly possible. That said I think it is about quality down the spine and a new left back. My guess is NP will be shopping abroad with a few players with proven Premiership quality. I'd like Holtby, Cresswell, Caulker, Zaha (loan) and maybe Parker though - all are realistic
suffolk fox Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 Can't get rid of Logan? Who would wash the kit?
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 I could see Logan staying here for his entire career at this point. Perhaps he won't even be registered for next season and he'd only be eligible for cup games.
artursteppe Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Darren Fletcher of Man Utd, 30 years old, hardly played in last eighteen months, but real quality and experience. Rumours about that Man U will let him go at the end of the season.

Rumours about that Man U will let him go at the end of the season. Hes hardly played because hes had bowl disease. I doubt man u will let him go as he is a good player and just starting to come back.
deep blue Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 and its wank replies like that that other fans come on this forum and think were a bunch of bell ends if you have nothing to add or find it to hard to comprehend a reply with some actual substance then dont even bother replying mate. am seeing this a lot lately on posts genuine fans that wants to start a thread with thoughts of other genuine fans get spoiled by idiots i suggest you hurry up and turn your computer off mate before mummy catches you as it school tomorrow I empathise. Maybe the profile of members on the forum is changing for the worse in recent weeks. And re the squad for next season? I think NP will keep all of the active squad and add up to 6 new players to add depth and quality in the areas contributors have highlighted above. As far as transfer fees are concerned, I believe NP will continue to look for bargain buys of good quality but might splash a large fee on one or two players (most likely for a goal scorer). He will want to be careful of bringing in players who will demand a significantly higher salary than the rest so as to reduce the risk of unrest in the squad.
