gagandeep Posted 22 August 2004 Posted 22 August 2004 gordan strachan, george graham, john gregory, terry venables? (i know its wishful thinking) these are the ones that come to mind straight away can anyone else think of some. out of those mentioned above i think it is unlikely that el tel and geaorge graham woul come to us. but i would love to see john gregory or gordan strachan here.
Mark Posted 22 August 2004 Posted 22 August 2004 Gordan Strachan i wish. John Gregory is like Micky in the way he falls out with people. No thanks to the other two!

George Graham is an old school manager, don't know if he's up to date with the modern game! Gregory did well at Derby ay....and Venables at Leeds. Jesus Christ, I hate the idea of having one of those as our manager!
Mark Posted 22 August 2004 Posted 22 August 2004 Its MICKY by the way, though i can understand you thinking Mickey Mouse.
Scow Posted 22 August 2004 Posted 22 August 2004 Strachan will not want to return to management for a while.... John Gregory? How stupid can you get? Nearly took Derby down......
Libertine Posted 22 August 2004 Posted 22 August 2004 Nothing is wrong with Adams. It was just the team on Sat. that was bloody awful.
discojoe Posted 23 August 2004 Posted 23 August 2004 lets not forget we played with no right midfield for nearly 20 mins on saturday what could we do

Ric Flair Posted 23 August 2004 Posted 23 August 2004 At the end of the day Mad Dog, Micky couldn't do anything wrong in your eyes. It's the managers responsibility to sort things out when things go wrong, we've had a season and 4 games of pure shit and the manager has yet to show any signs of taking necessary actions to make us better. He obviously tells them to hoof the ball, which in my opinion is worse possible crime in football. Send him down, twat.
Ricey Posted 23 August 2004 Posted 23 August 2004 Strachan will not want to return to management for a while....John Gregory? How stupid can you get? Nearly took Derby down...... 14256 Strachan has stated he would take the Scotland job if it came available but who knows. I very very very much doubt he would come to Leicester, if he does I will be a very happy man indeed.
Carlo Posted 23 August 2004 Posted 23 August 2004 Never really liked Strachan as a manger but as a pundit or interviewee he's very funny!!!
Ricey Posted 23 August 2004 Posted 23 August 2004 Never really liked Strachan as a manger but as a pundit or interviewee he's very funny!!! 14307 How can you not like Strachan as a manager?! Look what he achieved with Coventry and Southampton with no money.

Look what he achieved with Coventry and Southampton with no money. 14310 What were his achievements????? He kept both clubs in the Prem for a few seasons on a small budget but lots of managers achieve this objective every season!!!!
Marcoos Posted 23 August 2004 Posted 23 August 2004 I suspect that we might go for Ronnie Moore who I think would come to us. Strachan would not come and I would not want any of the others...
shelly Posted 23 August 2004 Posted 23 August 2004 Defo not Gregory! he was quite vocal about us as a club when we went into admin. And my dad hates him!

gagandeep Posted 23 August 2004 Author Posted 23 August 2004 Why are we talking like Micky has been sacked or left ? 14474 God Knows!!!!!! 14509 cos i (we) aint convinced of his abilitys as a manager, especially his tactis, how he is in the transfer market, the way he never gives youth a chance, his team selections, how he picks certain players even when they are playing cr@ap. how he falls out with players. (without thinking what effect it would have on the side (davidson, howey-he was good until adams and him had a fight) thats a lot of things to be unhappy about.
Sparky Posted 23 August 2004 Posted 23 August 2004 somebody on the phone in has just mentioned gary mccallister

And that almost made us stay up with a team of free transfers?? Youth doesnt get a chance??? errrrm..... heath, stewart, canero, williams and Gudjonsson all of which you have all slagged off on a regular basis. How he is in the transfer market??? With no money to spend could you or anyone else have signed better free transfers?? I aint happy about the performances but there are two sides to every story!!!
