stevie lynex on the wing Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 will the st holders sing where were you when we was shit at fellow fans . well heres a couple of points . (1) 30.000 turned up when we got relgated to league one at our last home match (.did they sing where were you when we was good ) (2) So to the point we will always have 30.000 if we are going up .and also turn up when we are going down . ive been to game at filbert street when only 6000 turned up to a league match at home .the same season i was also at filbert street for the last home game with 29.000 in the ground .i would never say what the so called city fans call our fans today ..... city fans have and always turn up in numbers to key games .....THE FANS THAT CALL CITY FANS .. plastic elastic day trippers etc ...learn about our history before you mouth off ...... up the city ....
stevie lynex on the wing Posted 2 May 2014 Author Posted 2 May 2014 first fan that dont know our history . 29.453 v burnley 14/5/1983.....we also got promoted .
ScouseFox Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 we sold out the league one promotion game too and we were fcking shit that night
john ridley Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 That's right , there was none of this plastic bollocks around then , as said above , look back at city's history the crowds have always fluctuated , anyway once a city fan ALWAYS a city fan .
Rushden fox Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 Can we sing "we're shit and we're beating you"..... Prem game verses arsenals undefeated....quality
Maybes Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 first fan that dont know our history . 29.453 v burnley 14/5/1983.....we also got promoted . Apologies I thought you meant that last ever game at Filbert St. I misread what you had put. Jesus.

Littletoe Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 I'm confused by this article... You seem really defensive about what others might think.. We're a family, end of.
Leicesterpool Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 I thing the right term for these supporters are "The Big Match Brigade!"

Perhaps if you used punctuation it would help. Trying to dig myself out of a big hole? Have a word with yourself. Out of interest are you labelling me as 'one of those fans' that cries where were you when we were shit? I can tell you where I was in 1983. I was just a twinkle in my fathers eye.
wight88 Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 Yeah. But, how do we know you're not using google? Can actually believe he knows these stats off by heart judging by his general mannerisms
MattGamble92 Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 You people miss the point from us season ticket holders when we label people plastic. I have no problem with our attendance going from 22,000 to 31,000. It looks lovely seeing those faded west stand seats covered on the telly as Liam Moore gets ready for a not-so long long throw. My problem is when those extra 9,000 grunt every misplaced pass, heckle players who I have seen have a brilliant season and come out with comments like "glad I ain't been down all season if they play this shit". You can tell me all you like that they're as Leicester through and through as me but you must see how this annoys people who go week in week out. That, and walking behind thousands more oversized Arsene Wenger coats on Raw Dykes road while trying to get to the crammed car park that's gonna take a whole hour of Alan Young's voice before you make it to the tunnel of horn pressers makes it a frustrating day out.
