I hate it when ST holders speak for me. I have been an ST holder for about 10 years now and I can say two things:

1. I don't care how many games someone else has been to; they are no more or less deserving of watching Leicester than anybody else.

2. The biggest moaners I have seen, the ones who really vilify the players and leave early etc, have been the other ST holders who I've been next to for the last 10 years.

will the st holders sing where were you when we was shit at fellow fans .

well heres a couple of points .

(1) 30.000 turned up when we got relgated to league one at our last home match (.did they sing  where were you when we was good )

(2) So to the point we will always have 30.000 if we are going up .and also turn up when we are going down .

ive been to game at filbert street  when only 6000 turned up to a  league match at home .the same season i was also at filbert street for the last home game with 29.000 in the ground .i would never say what the so called city fans call our fans today ..... city fans  have and always  turn up in numbers to key games .....THE FANS THAT CALL CITY FANS .. plastic elastic day trippers etc ...learn about our history before you mouth off ...... up the city ....

So what you're saying is, that the attendance varies and the reason for this variation may be something to do with the importance of the particular game? Astonishing.

before you make it to the tunnel of horn pressers makes it a frustrating day out.

Does that still happen?

I haven't driven to a game for ages and when I do now I leave the London Road way but it's only night matches that I'll drive if at all.

That used to be great when the traffic was stop start in there, all blasting away with the odd car in between not sure what's happening as they're just caught between football traffic.

I even recall Stringer asking anyone in there on the radio to phone up, could've been a game against Forest or Derby a few years ago.

Ive been up since 5.

Doesn't matter wether people have attended for one game or have a season ticket, it's all good for the club if these extra fans only turn up when we are playing better.

The fact is there are many reason why some people only get to a few games, money, time etc, and if we are playing poorly every week, like the back end of last season, people are less likely to give up the money or time, doesn't make them plastic, or unloyal, just supporting the club how they can.

Next season will be great with the kp full to the brim with LEICESTER fans.

what about a pitch invasion after the match but the plastics and season ticket holders face off in a gladiatorial battle to the death?

Posted

Be funny if the 'plastics' and some thick St holders leave at 88mins to get out early, especially if we are losing not realising the REAl reason for today!!

Couldn't care less, it's good to see the ground full. What I don't appreciate is people coming and talking rubbish.

.. you will not hear me slag my team off .in fact i belive this team that is going up is better than martin oneils team that went up in 1996 . :scarf:

Is that because you are too busy slagging your fellow fans off for not knowing the attendance of a game we played in 1983?

first fan that dont know our history .

29.453 v burnley 14/5/1983.....we also got promoted .

Great memories. I was on the pitch with my mum cheering the players as they game out into the directors seats throwing their shirts to the crowd which is how it should be done today. I can also remember during those low attendances thinking how great it would be if we filled the stadiums very week.

Guys! Guys! Look at us! Squabbling! Bickering like children. What's happened to us? We never used to be like this!

Things are going so well on the pitch that we need to find something to moan about!

Can we sing "we're shit and we're beating you"..... Prem game verses arsenals undefeated....quality

that was amazing i remember that!

My mate went to a home game recently. he goes when he can they just grab any tickets going. ended up in sk1 down the front and got nothing but abuse he says from their own fans.

I just remembered it was brighton because i remember he told me he saw people getting nicked for homophobic chanting. sometimes our fans are just...stellar

Much much rather focus on celebratory chants! At the end of the day, the fans that haven't being going have missed out on an incredible season which is their problem! I for one am looking forward to what will be a carnival atmosphere, would be especially brilliant if we win and Birmingham lose as well so even the Donny fans will have something to cheer.

I think he can be forgiven for not knowing the exact attendance for a game against Burnley in 1983...

the post was about leicester city history and our fans calling other city fans . so why have used my grammer (yes it is shit) to make yourself look better ? a question was asked from me to you about leicester city lowest prem att .and you have not answerd it ... . keep digging :D

If I really wanted to I could find out from Wikipedia. Given that I wasn't born in Leicester (moved here at the age of 4), my father hates football I've had no one spoon feeding me info for games and attendances when I wasn't even born.

You say I criticise your punctuation to make myself look better but aren't you trying to belittle me and make yourself look better because I don't know something about an attendance in 1983? You were alive in 1983 and went to a game. Well done. I've missed a handful of games over the last 15 years since Ive been able to attend.

All this because I misread what you had initial said. We support the same side after all.

I hope you enjoy the game.
