syston_fox Posted 14 September 2006 Posted 14 September 2006 I watched some of the first series earlier and tonights episode wasnt up to the high standard in my opinion. Especially when compared to Mock The Week at 10pm, it just wasnt as funny as I was hoping for!

Louise Posted 14 September 2006 Posted 14 September 2006 Not as subtle as some of the stuff in the first series, but one of the better 'famous actor' cameos I thought, every bit with Bloom I found hilarious. As for That Mitchell And Webb Look, was a bit hit and miss but I'll keep watching. Liked the soldiers, the medical drama, the guys inviting around Moneypenny and the posh waiter. No way as good as Peep Show or The Smoking Room or as funny as David Mitchell is when improvising. ETA: Mock the Week was very good though, improved so much since it's first few awkward episodes.
