Head Honcho Posted 22 September 2006 Posted 22 September 2006 I quite like the bit where they were trying to chat the two ladies up. And David Bowie's song. Apart from that, I found it midly amusing, and that's exaggerating somewhat. Yeh it wasn't the best episode but still knocks spots off of most other comedy shows on the box!
Libertine Posted 28 September 2006 Posted 28 September 2006 'Twas better this week. A bit predictable in parts but pretty good. Mitchell & Webb was alright too, but not as good as last week IMO. Mock the Week was quality as usual.
syston_fox Posted 28 September 2006 Posted 28 September 2006 Def the best in the series so far of extras. Daniel Radcliffe was better than I expected him to be and there were some genuine laugh out loud moments! Mock The Week has to be the funniest programme on TV at the moment though! Never fails to be anything less that quality!
lildave3 Posted 28 September 2006 Posted 28 September 2006 I found Extras, Mitchell and Webb and Mock the Week hilarious tonight. Brilliant!! Extras was quality as ever, i think last week was awesome but obviously some people disagree

Louise Posted 28 September 2006 Posted 28 September 2006 Some good cringy moments in Extras, especially when he was telling the mother off saying stuff like 'its your fault for having him' etc., better than last week I thought (although Matthew Wright cannot act to save his life), and Daniel Radcliffe was great as a horny teenager. 'Shut up Daniel'. M&W was good, not as good as last week, but I still love it. The Green Claranet especially and the evil vicar...
Daggers Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 "What would you eat if you were a piranha then?"..."Crisps, probably" "I met a bloke once who said he'd love to take me up the Amazon"
Fez of Mahrez Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Mitchell & Webb Look has mentioned Northampton, Leicester, Derby and Daventry in the last two episodes

syston_fox Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 "What would you eat if you were a piranha then?"..."Crisps, probably" "I met a bloke once who said he'd love to take me up the Amazon" I think they should make the sitcom from extras and put it on the BBC coz at times its the funniest part of the episodes!
Dr The Singh Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 I think they should make the sitcom from extras and put it on the BBC coz at times its the funniest part of the episodes! AGreed, I loved it, it's so corny, and steroetypical, it's funny!!
syston_fox Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 In fact I think at the match against Birmingham tomorrow, all the Leicester fans should buy wigs and big red glasses and sing "Premiership - You having a laugh?"

This post is now featuring in a thread on LCFC forum. I think it's a brilliant idea, but for a home game

Rincewind Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 I Thought it was quite good last night. Missed Mock The Week. Reminds me of a Ch4 programme that used to be on with Clive Anderson. Think it was called Whose Line Is It Anyway. The guests had to do a lot of improvising. Missed it last night. Turned over to CH4 to watch a film called Dogma. MattDillon/Ben Allfeck. Pretty good. About two angels trying to get back into heaven. It had a go at religion but made it clear at the beginning that the film was not to be taken seriously in the opening titles (like Star Wars) and in a PS it said it's up to God to complain anyway. I like the agent in Extras. Supposed to be helping him yet he makes things worse.

Head Honcho Posted 5 October 2006 Posted 5 October 2006 Best one ever tonight. Moira Stewart at the end was quality
Benji Posted 5 October 2006 Posted 5 October 2006 The best sketch so far has to be last weeks where the agent just goes.. 'oh midget!' was a funny one tonight though, the agent is class
