Yeah agree about Chile they gave England a bit of an hiding last year at wembley. For that group I'm tiping Chile to win it, netherlands second. Spain to go out early.  Australia i can't see even scoring a goal.

our second team should really have beaten Ecuador and we hated the conditions. Switzerland are nothing and as much as we didn't beat Honduras, when it comes down to it France will despatch them with relative ease. 9 points probably 6+ goals scored and I'd be surprised if they conceded more than once.

Follow that with (probably) Bosnia in the next round and they are right on their way both mentally and in reality. Could be a good shout for a semi spot.

I agree France could stick a few past Ecuador. They didn't hold back at all, seriously attack-minded side.

 

Honduras are shite.

 

Switzerland aren't that bad really. I'd have them down as being better than Bosnia (though they're no mugs) and I'd have Ecuador down as better than Iran/Nigeria.

Interesting, you're back them to beat either Italy, England or Uruguay in the last 16? Uruguay would have a field day against them lot, Italy wouldn't have a problem either. We're the only ones who would no doubt make it hard for ourselves.

 

I think Japan will get out of that group, so that only leaves the other place between Colombia (decent) Ivory Coast (talented but reknown chokers) and the unfancied Greece.

 

I don't think Colombia to get out of the group.   For me the Greeks and Ivory Coast.   I can see Greece beating Italy/uruguay on pens.
