MC Prussian Posted 20 May 2014 Posted 20 May 2014 ... just don 't come up with any racist remarks or gestures: A female employee of the FC Barcelona museum has been sacked after making offensive gestures towards an African player during a Segunda Division B playoff game between Llagostera and Santander. http://youtu.be/1SnRVvHy04Y http://www.totalbarca.com/2014/news/racist-employee-fired-from-fcb-museum/
AndWhat? Posted 20 May 2014 Posted 20 May 2014 Is Spain the most racist country in Western Europe? Serious questions need to be asked if a middle age woman feels it's acceptable to act like that.
Vacamion Posted 20 May 2014 Posted 20 May 2014 'Cos no cameras are going to be pointed near the goal where you are sitting and where the action has just been, eh? Racist, and thick with it...
Captain... Posted 20 May 2014 Posted 20 May 2014 Maybe it was an innocent mistake, was Gareth Bale playing in that match?
Trav Le Bleu Posted 20 May 2014 Posted 20 May 2014 Racist, and thick with it... Isn't that usually the way?
Durnerz Posted 20 May 2014 Posted 20 May 2014 Sadly this is an all too familiar problem in Spanish football that I had the misfortune to experience in the Madrid derby this year.I'm sure it won't be long before the local supermarkets have a 2 for 1 on banana's every matchday.
Fox in the North Posted 20 May 2014 Posted 20 May 2014 The problem is Spanish culture in general, I noticed when I stayed in Granada, there's hardly any immigrants so most of them get treated like shite. And the only black people I genuinely saw were either footballers or some selling on the streets of coastal towns/cities. Add to the fact that their economy is still pretty battered then they unfortunately will become even more of a scapegoat.
Darkon84 Posted 20 May 2014 Posted 20 May 2014 Maybe he bottled a tackle and it was a chicken gesture?
