Sadly this is an all too familiar problem in Spanish football that I had the misfortune to experience in the Madrid derby this year.

I'm sure it won't be long before the local supermarkets have a 2 for 1 on banana's every matchday.

The problem is Spanish culture in general, I noticed when I stayed in Granada, there's hardly any immigrants so most of them get treated like shite. And the only black people I genuinely saw were either footballers or some selling on the streets of coastal towns/cities. Add to the fact that their economy is still pretty battered then they unfortunately will become even more of a scapegoat.
