HowardsBulletHeader Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 I know nothing about this geezer. Oh come on there's no time for sensible posts. Surely you have either: 1) signed him on FM/FIFA and he turned out to be a gem or 2) you have watched him in the World Cup and for those minutes you saw of him, you feel we should launch a club record bid.
foxoffderby Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 Just as some info on Torres for those who don't know it; Liverpool knew exactly what they were doing when they sold him. He had been flagged up for having a serious knee issue on his medical but they waited until the last minute to accept Chelsea's offer so that the scum didn't have time to do a medical. The rest is history. Great transfer deal from Liverpool. Its why Torres has lost his pace and agility. Didn't they then buy Andy Carroll for £35M? Money well spent. Perhaps the only real winner was Mike Ashley.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 Didn't they then buy Andy Carroll for £35M? Money well spent. Perhaps the only real winner was Mike Ashley. Plus the agents of both players!
