Grandad. Posted 18 June 2014 Posted 18 June 2014 I seem to be forbidden from posting in the LCFC section of the forum, still unsure why as I have never slated LCFC on here. So that means I can't post in the Premier League section in there, which is designed for all Premier League talk, not just Leicester. Anyway, I thought I would start my own thread, feel free to discuss Premier League games and Liverpool () with me in here. Tough start for us and Leicester. Would be happy for 6 points! See you December 2nd. Shock Man United get an easy start after last seasons dismay.
ScouseFox Posted 18 June 2014 Posted 18 June 2014 yep will be backing united for the league and cashing out after they win their first ridiculously easy 6 or 7 (bar us, of course )
kingcarr21 Posted 18 June 2014 Posted 18 June 2014 Im not scared of our run of games at the start. We will surprise a few i reckon. Pick up good draws away from home and beat Everton at home. Happy days. i wanted to go Anfield but it on new years day which is my sons bday. maybe next year when we survive
ScouseFox Posted 18 June 2014 Posted 18 June 2014 can't claim it's my idea i saw someone on twitter mention it you can pick them up at about 6/1 or 13/2 on betfair atm, if they make a good signing or two, van gaal keeps rvp scoring at the world cup, they come back to training and make the right noises they'll go off shorter than that anyway. then beat swansea, sunderland, burnley, qpr, us (), west ham, maybe everton and then west brom they'll be at least 3 or 4 points clear by mid october judging by everyone else's tough starts. odds would have crumbled by then. they then play chelsea, city and arsenal in their next 4 i think so just before then would seemingly be a good time to get out should it go to plan.

If i'm honest, I see them as one of the favourites.... IF they make one or two signings in key areas. Van Gaal is definitely no mug and he will get RVP back on the scoresheet weekly.

Grandad. Posted 18 June 2014 Author Posted 18 June 2014 Tell me it's just a daft rumour going round that Arsenal are interested in Tom Cleverley?!
ScouseFox Posted 18 June 2014 Posted 18 June 2014 Tell me it's just a daft rumour going round that Arsenal are interested in Tom Cleverley?! i read it was part of a vermaelen move to united, both seemed very weird. think vermaelen would be a good signing for united mind.

You'd have said the same about Liverpool to be fair. They've got the players to do it, they just need to replace their defenders and bring in a new anchorman.

Yeah good signing for United but Arsenal refuse to sign Cesc but are happy for Cleverley to be apart of the Vermaelen deal? Crazy. Watch Cleverley be another Ramsey.

The Horse's Mouth Posted 18 June 2014 Posted 18 June 2014 We're going down lads, was good while it lasted.
Grandad. Posted 18 June 2014 Author Posted 18 June 2014 I honestly think Leicester will take points in them first 5 games, I would not be surprised with a 2-0 victory first day of the season v Everton. Lambert's first game for Liverpool v Southampton, , even better if Lallana joins.
