Mikey Posted 23 June 2014 Posted 23 June 2014 Ronaldo fanboys getting mad. I'm a fan boy, I'm not mad i'm just disappointed for him after dragging Portugal to Brazil and now clearly being far from his best because of a injury after the brilliant season he's had.
Finnegan Posted 23 June 2014 Posted 23 June 2014 Shame portugal will still probably go out when the Germans and USA play out a draw. If Ghana play like they did against the Germans and Portugal play like... they have in every other game, the USA Germany game won't matter to Ronaldo and Co anyway, they'll be well and truly bottom.
Finnegan Posted 23 June 2014 Posted 23 June 2014 Germans v german manager = draw. I actually don't agree, I'll be surprised if they do. Klinsmann is very competitive and will feel he has a point to prove, plus they could probably do with winning the group to improve their odds. The Germans won't want to fail to win a group as straightforward as they think this one is. Only way I can see it being a bore draw is if the Septics think their best odds of qualifying is to settle for the draw and park the bus, which wouldn't be a mutual, diplomatic, because-its-the-Germans decision. I'm not sure he's that pragmatic though.
Socks Posted 23 June 2014 Posted 23 June 2014 Nah Portugal are out. They have to put 6 past Ghana and Germany have to win without the USA scoring Bye bye Ronaldo, hope he cries again
purpleronnie Posted 23 June 2014 Posted 23 June 2014 USA are just another team showing its about the team and not a bunch of individuals, England would do well to take note.
MC Prussian Posted 23 June 2014 Posted 23 June 2014 USA are just another team showing its about the team and not a bunch of individuals, England would do well to take note. Klinsmann had some balls to leave the ever-present Landon Donovan out of the squad, which caused quite a stir back home in the US. So far, it has paid off. Wonder if the England manager would dare to do the same with an English player.
Grandad. Posted 23 June 2014 Posted 23 June 2014 Did I really see Klinsmann sing the US national anthem? Fair play to him if he did. Really impressed with the US side, so unlucky last night. Portugal showed glimpses of quality but the final ball, like the pundits highlighted a lot, was shocking.
DennisNedry Posted 23 June 2014 Posted 23 June 2014 Personally I think it's great to see so many USA fans at the matches, having street screenings etc. I was really backing them to win and was gutted by the undeserved 95th minute concession. U S AU S A U S A
purpleronnie Posted 23 June 2014 Posted 23 June 2014 Ronaldo's strops are so pathetic, you would have thought he would have grown up by now. He doesn't even celebrate with his teammates if he had nothing to do with the goal. ? Sad if true.
ScouseFox Posted 23 June 2014 Posted 23 June 2014 Well he had a lot to do with the second yesterday and he didn't celebrate. He's probably just pissed off he's not fit and his teammates are shite.
