Stadt Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 Unreal. There's absolutely no reason we can't have one of the best away supports in the country next season from a vocal point of view. If the pensioners are Almunia-ed, then why not?
melrose Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 If only we could watch that without feeling we're on coke in an 80s disco it would be great You must of been on a few bob in the eighties to be able to afford coke!
philce Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 I think my socks are still wet from that night at Notts County!!
Heskey2011 Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 I was at the game in manaus last night, Honduras/Switzerland, and from where we were sat I could see two city flags in the stadium, out of 40k supporters that is amazing, only other uk flag was a wales one, no man u, Liverpool, or Chelsea et al. Our support is fantastic, cannot wait for the new season I think we're more popular than ever. Also went to the amazon for a 3 day jungle tour, only other brit there was Leicester fan. Mental, we are everywhere!
Beliall Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 Sounds like you traveled thousands of miles to brazil and all you saw was leicester
Heskey2011 Posted 27 June 2014 Posted 27 June 2014 Pretty much yeah, got tix for an Algeria Russia but no mahrez, devvoed.
Claridge Posted 27 June 2014 Posted 27 June 2014 The night at notts county in the ZDS was awesome! It was me and my mates had seats in the stand.Under cover
artursteppe Posted 27 June 2014 Posted 27 June 2014 Our fan base away from home consists of too many pensioners which is why we won't be able to get ends like that for the foreseeable future, it'll probably be worse next season. I bet those pensioners now, were the away supporters in 91/92, making you younger chaps a little bit of an embarrassment by comparison.
Stadt Posted 28 June 2014 Posted 28 June 2014 I bet those pensioners now, were the away supporters in 91/92, making you younger chaps a little bit of an embarrassment by comparison. They probably were but it doesn't mean that stand and sing now. Those people have every right to attend away games but it just means (in my opinion) our support can't reach it's potential.
SeattleShane Posted 28 June 2014 Posted 28 June 2014 I stayed the weekend in a B&B with my Dad at Southend. We had to take cover in a restaurant because Southend, West Ham and Leicester were having running battles along the promenade. It was a mad final 10 minutes at Roots Hall that day! Me and a couple of my mates did the same. The police werent going to let us get back to the B and B as they had blocked off the street. Was also in a pub before the game where some Leicester fans climbed onto the roof and started smashing up tables.
SeattleShane Posted 28 June 2014 Posted 28 June 2014 The night at notts county in the ZDS was awesome! I was that soaked that I didnt want it to go to extra time !
