And everyone worked their bollocks off which didnt happen in this game.

Again cant argue with that which is a concern but i stand by my original post, Hammond should not be playing in a 4-4-2 when we have King and James sub

Disappointing to drop the 2 points right at the death but i think a draw was about fair. Not a good game at all.

The thing that really annoyed me was how lazy Jeff Schlupp is. He's got great physical attributes, quick and strong but walks around so much when he's not on the ball, he never seems to want it. So many times we had the ball on his opposite side and he should have been coming up at the far post and supporting but just didnt look bothered. Credit to him for his goal but he really needs to give more to the team as a whole. I really like the guy and we already know he has his limitations (finishing etc) but if he's not going to be bothered for the whole 90 mins, he's not someone I want to see in the match day squad

Only just got round to really reflecting on the game, I was sitting in front of someone who said "oh well we've played terrible and got all 3 points so it ain't all bad" and then the free kick got given and his face just dropped, not a nice way to end the day but we're still 12th and we've had one of the hardest starts to the season so there is always positives to be taken.

I did get slightly annoyed towards the end on around the 85th minute when people got down the wings but nobody made any effort to get inside the box, Schlupp just stood on the edge flapping his arms around but not really having any impact, I have always stuck up for the lad he's a young, raw talent that does offer certain things and I think if he puts the work in he can be a good player one day. I think one thing that was lacking was a leader on the field to calm the game down, at times they were passing straight through our midfield, something that hasn't happened to often this season, hindsight is a wonderful thing and you can probably guess that I'll say Cambiasso should have started if fit (not sure if he was injured. It seemed at times though we had done the hard bit in getting the ball up field but our play in the final third eluded us and we couldn't get that 3rd goal. As for the lower sprints stat it was always gonna happen against lower sided opposition, Burnley defended like we have against Chelsea and Everton, there is no room to run in behind whereas United put less players behind the ball1

In my opinion it's a good time for the international break, gives the lads 2 weeks to regroup and NP to get stuck in to the Newcastle game!

I will agree with it being 2 points dropped and that's always frustrating but we're still 12th after 7, I have full faith Pearson will have them ready for the next game!

Couldn't watch the match live and had a mate that I thought had spoiled the result for me and told me it was 2-1. I was disappointed that we let them score because I actually started Kasper in my fantasy team (love him but don't really rate him as a keeper). But Jesus Christ it was Burnley.

So I watched it late Saturday night after about 15 pints of beer... About ready to switch it off then the equalizer. Sickening. We didn't look good but its Premier League football and we knew this kind of crap was gonna happen. Nige will sort it all out.

Very upsetting result, it felt like we had been beaten coming out the ground.

Kasper has to start commanding his area, I also think it might be time to give Wasyl a crack at centre back as well, we certainly need some aerial dominance in these games where we play sides whose best chance of a goal seems to come from a high ball into the box.

I didn't get our changes either, to be 2-1 up with minutes to go and have Cambiasso and Hammond sat in the stand with Schulpp and Knocky on the pitch was a recipe for disaster and a XI that was going to be put under pressure, so surprising as last season so many times we utilised the extra midfielder for attacking flair to see out a game comfortably.

We shouldn't overreact though, certainly no need for sweeping changes.

Wonder if getting Upson fit opens up the 3-5-2 as an option for us. Left sided CB, Wes Central and, Moore covering right side. Schlupp would make a great wing back although right side could become exposed and we'd still be able to have 3 cm's, allowing us to control the middle of the park.

Do we honestly think Upson can operate in a 3-5-2? I haven't watched him much recently (read: at all) but I get the impression that he's rather slow and broken down.

Really disappointed with the result, was moving house over the weekend so only got to see the highlights today...

I was expecting us to beat Burnley TBH. They are utter shit and are going straight back down.  We just looked like 2 championship sides fumbling about, no class at all.  if we cant beat them we're doomed also.  I watched them at West Brom and were the poorest team I have seen this season.

Just hope it was one of those days as that was a relegation performance in my eyes.....

Possibly but would like to think Schlupp ahead would add protection and pace. I'm just struggling to find a formation which allows us to be utilise our wide men whilst still fitting in 3 centre mids.

We will not be involved in a relegation scrap, we were the better side, but just couldn't kick it into fifth gear after the break! To label them as shit, without Marney, Ings and Vokes is harsh, they set themselves up well and fired themselves up for it. Just one of those days.
