The Doctor Posted 8 May 2015 Posted 8 May 2015 Read again, I'm talking about Scotland. Conservatives have won Nuneaton by 5,000 - A majority could be well within reach here. Still, you were talking as if the tories had taken control in England, but Labour are making ground; even if that exit poll is accurate (and I highly doubt it is - no way the SNP are taking 58 seats).
Guest MattP Posted 8 May 2015 Posted 8 May 2015 Still, you were talking as if the tories had taken control in England, but Labour are making ground; even if that exit poll is accurate (and I highly doubt it is - no way the SNP are taking 58 seats). The Tories are taking control in England by a mile, it's very possible they are heading for a overall majority in the UK let alone just here. Labour were always going to claw back a few they lost in 2010 but they couldn't get any worse from the Brown election here. At the minute the exit poll is looking even more favourable to the Tories than 316.
GingerrrFox Posted 8 May 2015 Posted 8 May 2015 Nicola Sturgeon is infuriating. Alex Salmond is beyond belief. "David Cameron has no legitimacy in Scotland". Do one.
Guest MattP Posted 8 May 2015 Posted 8 May 2015 Salmond is right in a way, the countries have grown so far apart now we have to sort something out, are they going to interview Russell Brand at any point? It was predicted he could swing the election, he just might have done. P.S Anyone wanna to buy a stone?
The Doctor Posted 8 May 2015 Posted 8 May 2015 First lib dem seat, but with their majority being cut by 5k. Even when they win it's going poorly... SNP get a 26% swing on Labour as well in Kilmarnock - ouch.
GingerrrFox Posted 8 May 2015 Posted 8 May 2015 Douglas Alexander loses by 6k on the SNP... That is a massive loss for Labour. The biggest loss so far.
Guest MattP Posted 8 May 2015 Posted 8 May 2015 Who is this geezer who has beat Douglas Alexander? Huge swings to the SNP, they could be wiping the whole floor with Labour.
GingerrrFox Posted 8 May 2015 Posted 8 May 2015 Who is this geezer who has beat Douglas Alexander? Huge swings to the SNP, they could be wiping the whole floor with Labour. One of the biggest butch, lefty lesbians, you will ever see in your life Matty.
The Doctor Posted 8 May 2015 Posted 8 May 2015 Who is this geezer who has beat Douglas Alexander? Huge swings to the SNP, they could be wiping the whole floor with Labour. Some twenty year old kid, absolutely huge defeat for labour there.
Guest MattP Posted 8 May 2015 Posted 8 May 2015 One of the biggest butch, lefty lesbians, you will ever see in your life Matty. Scared the shit of me, no wonder Douglas was so complimentary of him. She should have cut all that shit about stopping trident and ending austerity mind, her vote in Westminster could be as useless as tits on a bull.
ADK Posted 8 May 2015 Posted 8 May 2015 If only Rincewind was Scottish I reckon he could have been an MP
Grewks Posted 8 May 2015 Posted 8 May 2015 Top point there from Andrew Marr. SNP have seats in the commons.....but scotland have no voice. Gotta laugh at that young student going on about 'a bright future for scotland'.......They would of been better off voting labour. The rise of the SNP has led to a rise of nationalism in England....Conservatives are not going to give the scots anything.
The Doctor Posted 8 May 2015 Posted 8 May 2015 27% swing in Paisley, 26% in Kilmarnock, 34.4% swing in Dunbartonshire, 29% in Dundee west... Labour are being absolutely decimated in Scotland.
Guest MattP Posted 8 May 2015 Posted 8 May 2015 Imagine if the Tories manage to hold one of the border towns, they could have more MP's in Scotland than Labour.
GingerrrFox Posted 8 May 2015 Posted 8 May 2015 Scared the shit of me, no wonder Douglas was so complimentary of him. She should have cut all that shit about stopping trident and ending austerity mind, her vote in Westminster could be as useless as tits on a bull. She spoke absolute shite from the get go. SNP believe that they will gain a voice for Scotland but all that is happening is the growth of real resentment towards the Scotch from England. It's all me, me, me and people below the border are fed up of it. The Conservatives are going to end up as the biggest party in this election in my belief as a protest vote against a Labour and SNP coalition. I think opinion polls and analysts completely underestimated how much the English resent being dictated to by the Scotch.
Grewks Posted 8 May 2015 Posted 8 May 2015 27% swing in Paisley, 26% in Kilmarnock, 34.4% swing in Dunbartonshire, 29% in Dundee west... Labour are being absolutely decimated in Scotland. And yet Scotland will have less of a voice in the commons than previously. If you're english...no matter how you voted today, you've got to be praying for a conservative majority right now.
The Doctor Posted 8 May 2015 Posted 8 May 2015 Lib Dems failed to get 5% in 21 constituencies so far. Not sure who is having a worse night out of Milliband and Clegg.
Grewks Posted 8 May 2015 Posted 8 May 2015 Lib Dems failed to get 5% in 21 constituencies so far. Not sure who is having a worse night out of Milliband and Clegg. 1. Miliband 2. Clegg 3. Scottish voice in the commons
The Doctor Posted 8 May 2015 Posted 8 May 2015 And a 34.5% swing for the SNP in Kirkcaldy... That exit poll is looking more and more likely.
Guest MattP Posted 8 May 2015 Posted 8 May 2015 SNP have taken Kirk and Cowdenbeath with a 35% swing, what a shame Gordon Brown wasn't still around to suffer that.
Guest Kopfkino Posted 8 May 2015 Posted 8 May 2015 Labour's top target, North Warwickshire, is held by the Conservatives with an increase in the majority from 54 to nearly 3000
