Starting to see the massive regional divergences:

- Improved results for Labour in NE, despite massive UKIP vote

- Massive victory for Tories in Swindon (large Lab-Con swing)

- Putney (one of the more gentrifying Tory areas of London, with a sitting minister): Slight Con-Lab swing

- Rumours that Lab have lost seats to Con in Derby & Nottingham

Expecting Tories to do very well in SE & SW outside London, East Anglia, East Mids....not so elsewhere

#dividedtorynation

Have you noticed how small the turnouts have been up North? Just over 50% in Newcastle.

Farage in big trouble;

Fromb365

Thanet (South)

Conservative 1/4

UKIP 5/2

Labour 20/1

Every cloud.

Will be an interesting leadership contest.

Carswell would be the obvious choice, would be weird seeing a UKIP leader who is pro-immigration and compassionate though, total opposite to Farage. Wouldn't surprise me if they went to Suzanne Evans, could be a smart move to go with a female.

Vince Cable apparantly in big trouble, would love to see that closet Labourite get his comeuppance.

And get this bastard Kinnock off while we're at it.

Yougov chairman now on BBC saying they can't rule out a Tory maj - results so far in line with exit poll.

Tristram Hunt giving Balls a run for his money for delusion.

If this result does bare out, it's surely the last time we'll ever see Labour lurch to the left to try and win an election?

Even swinging to Tory and UKIP from Labour in Wales.

Surely this is the end for Clegg? Only a dozen declarations so far but they've all been absolutely horrific for the Lib Dems.

Kinnock is great.

That Interview reminded me of what Major said about him....

"He talks so much because he has nothing to say, so he has no way of knowing when he has finished saying it.

Tory Majority now 6/4.

I think this is going to be very tight.

Lost their deposit on 5 seats so far, vote share down 13.1% and Clegg set to lose his seat. Resignation by 5pm tomorrow I reckon.

Clegg should win his seat, Tories were being told to vote for him yesterday, that should be enough to push him over the line.

Clegg saved Cable out makes the coalition very easy as well if the Tories need it.

Really? Last I heard he was a goner.

Nah, it was close but he had pulled into a lead yesterday with Tory tactical voting.

Imagine how the Jocks feel at the minute, they might have just wiped out the Labour party, not elected a Tory single MP only to see them take total control in the South.

Spread your asscheeks if it happens, if you thought Thatcher was bad...

Paxman ripping Bennett apart on C4 right now.

Eh, even if the exit poll is correct, labour have actually increased in England (will have gained 26 seats on 2010).

Read again, I'm talking about Scotland.

Conservatives have won Nuneaton by 5,000 - A majority could be well within reach here.

Ugh, I'm done. I hate England. Night.

Get on that train up North, they are going soon and Labour are never seeing a majority again.
