GingerrrFox Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 Oh dear. Labour showing their hand. Regardless of how much David Cameron will have licked Miliband, they will try to seize power if the Conservatives cannot form a 326 majority with another party. That will be the absolute death of Labour in England, surely they realise this? With how the country is these days it's not beyond the realms of possibility to say people would riot in the streets.
BlueSi13 Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 Electoral Calculus have this now. I think the consensus is; nobody has a clue which way this election is going! Another poll, another defeat for Labour.

Guest Bilo Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 Another poll, another defeat for Labour. Tories clearly going to be the biggest party of course. However, neither forming enough to get anywhere near a majority - not even in coalition.

Guest MattP Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 I bet most of that lot are Labour or BNP northern monkeys.
Alf Bentley Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 If this exit poll is remotely correct.... - Tories have massacred Lib Dems in LD/Con marginals (Labour could only hope for about 12 LD seats, so if LDs are on 10 seats, most will have gone Tory) - UKIP may have taken significantly more votes from Labour than from Tories, thereby handing marginals to Tories (the high UKIP votes in Sunderland suggest this) - The large number of undecided people may have gone more to Tories than Labour, reducing Lab wins from Tories A small drop in Tory seat total would still rule Cameron out, though, if other seat totals are correct. Who could they rely on if, say, they have 300 seats and there are only 10 LDs, 8-9 DUP and 2-4 UKIP? Could the Lib Dems even conceivably support the Tories if they've lost most of their seats to them? I expected a hair-raising night, but not quite this hair-raising..... I should add that Scotland sounds even more disastrous than expected for Labour, but that was largely expected.
Guest MattP Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 Balls is threatening the SNP again. "They'll be sorry he says", hope this is going out to the whole of the nation, starting to wonder if he's an agent.
The Doctor Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 Galloway apparently losing in Bradford West! Can't see it being that simple though.
Guest MattP Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 Galloway apparently losing in Bradford West! Abdul and the gang will be down to the counting office soon with the bin liners
Guest Bilo Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 Getting that rumour spot on and this exit poll miles wrong would suit me just fine, BBC.
Jimothy Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 Danny Alexander rumoured to have lost. Not really a major shock, I think most predicted that.
Guest Bilo Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 Abdul and the gang will be down to the counting office soon with the bin liners He's majorly pissed off female voters with his treatment of Shah and his views on rape and forced marriage, students won't touch him with a shitty stick either.

I won't lie I'd miss his speeches on a personal level in the commons, so entertaining. I realise it's sickening to have people in parliament like him though, odious man.

He'd be no great loss to British politics if we're honest.

Watching him whine about the student only hustings put on by the university meant his supporters couldn't get in was hilarious. Serious problems appealing to the educated that man.
Guest MattP Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 First real big seat in at 1am - Nuneaton. If the Tories have managed to win that seat they should be having a very decent night.
