Parsons Posted 27 August 2005 Posted 27 August 2005 so how do you get there? I live in loughborough so i take the train in to Leicester
SystonFox Posted 27 August 2005 Posted 27 August 2005 well when i had my car (its since dead) i drove into leicester, and parked in a private car park on friar lane my dad has access to for work. then i would walk the rest of the way. today i shall be catching the number 5 bus from syston into town, then walking the rest of the way. so bus / car for me depending on what i have! haha
EmLeee Posted 27 August 2005 Posted 27 August 2005 I use my magical Mary Poppins Umbrella It only takes me 10 minutes to get there - Tis hell when it's windy though

cisono Posted 27 August 2005 Posted 27 August 2005 bit of everything but mary poppins if i'm late How does Mary Poppins manage to get all of you to the match on time, I wonder?!?!
cisono Posted 27 August 2005 Posted 27 August 2005 she gave me my own umbrella Ah, I see... some kind of "do it yourself Mary Poppins" (or possibly "do your own Mary Poppins?") ... that looks feasible now

kenny Posted 28 August 2005 Posted 28 August 2005 Off narborough road, near saxon street matey, quite close to soar point where i drink pre-match. I catch the train from loughborough if i feel like a few beers but its a bit of an effort.
Katy Posted 28 August 2005 Posted 28 August 2005 Park to as near to the top of Saffron lane/Aylestone lane as poss, walk to the Gateway, have a few swift red bulls. At about 2.40, walk to the ground just in time to miss Henry and then Robert is indeed your mothers brother
