Jace Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Apparently Richie Wellens returned to the club in a coaching role shortly after the Man Utd match, he started giving Chris Wood lifts to training which resulted in the 2 of them bitching about Pearsons choice of starting 11 and questioning his managerial knowledge in particular zonal marking. The rift between the players and the manager continued for several weeks and took a turn for the worst after the Southampton match when Danny Drinkwater defended Pearsons tactics in a team meeting only to be RKOed by Antony Knockaert out of nowhere. Things have got so bad that several of players have accepted Paul Gallaghers friend requests on Facebook, there is talk about them all meeting up for a Christmas get together at Nandos. Right now the dressing room could't be more divided, half of the players want Pearson out whilst the other half fear that Tony Pulis will be brought in. Appparently Matty James has been having nightmares of a naked Pulis head butting him every time he misses a chance or gives away a free kick. Its a mess behind the scenes and at the moment things don't look like they are going to change any time soon. Pearson fears he will be sacked and will have to enter I'm a Celebrity next year to pay off his credit card after over indulging in the summer at the Mountain Warehouse. Pearson regrets letting his guard down with the players allowing them to call him 'Nige Dogg' and 'Bigg Poppa Pearson' in training ever since promotion was achieved last season. He regrets not immortalising himself more like Sean Dyche did by commissioning his very own lego figure. Time is running out and and the owners are not happy about the lack of Filbert Fox masks they are selling in Thailand. They need things to change now and Pearson may have 1 more game to turn it around otherwise, lets hope Liverpool turn up with a 'Please don't sack Pearson' banner and hopefully our season will turn around.
