Would much rather Burnley stayed up with us. Had a brilliant trip up there in March. Would be delighted if QPR, Hull and Palace were to go.

I'm saying form at this stage of the season is irrelevant - form only really comes into it in the crunch time.

 

 

Just to further make this point - November 2003, last time we were up here, we took 11 points from 5 games over November/first week of December. We ended up getting relegated by 6 points.

Over the same period in 2003/2004 we'd have been in the european spots. Form at this time of year means nothing, unless you end up getting cut adrift at the bottom. A couple of good games pre-christmas means sweet FA.

I said at the start of the season that anybody finishing below Burnley finishes bottom. A good mini run of four games hasn't changed that.
