Weird bloke in sk1

Recommended Posts

Posted

I moved to SK1 this season hoping to get some noise going with UFS, instead I have found that I now feel obliged to sit down quietly as I have young Children one row in front and one row behind me.

As a 6ft+ rather large bloke it would be unfair on them for me to be blocking their view, or have to listen to me giving it large.

I have spoken to their parents and they have said they would have rather been in the family stand but it was sold out.

So they had to get seats where they could.

I'm old enough to remember being lifted to the front of the Kop at Filbo St when it was all standing, but doubt that would ever be tolerated nowdays

Has that genuinely happened or is it just some complete myth?

Two separate mates told me. One was able to resign up and his second profile got banned too now the IP is banned so he can't write anything. He said the only reason was because he put on the euro election thread that he was voting ukip. Bit harsh if that's all he put, it's not illegal to vote for them (in fact they won that election).

tell your 'mate' to grow a pair of testicles and then restart his router, use a proxy, a VPN or any of the numerous free ip switcher sites.

Considering you said you have to near the away fans to be heard, I was just saying if there were 6,000 in the Kop singing, you would clearly hear them.

It'd be great if people realised you don't have to go all LADbible on the away fans. It is possible to create atmosphere without singing shit #BANTER songs to away fans.

And having to do a monkey dance to entertain the away fans. Bet they love coming to leicester, cheap beer cheep pies and a touch of cabaret thrown in..

Was anyone part of the group of penguins by the way? Not usually keen on fancy dress at football but did enjoy the two lads who got moved to the front of the stand and were flapping their wings in time with the songs.  :xmaslaugh:

Not sure which Doncaster away you're referring to but the group wasn't formed until after we'd played them at their place last season.

UFS banner has been present at a few aways - Blackburn, Burnley etc.

My mate was one of the penguins. Said they were getting into a bit of trouble cause they wanted to stand together but the stewards were having none of it. Said they just done it for a laugh lol

Especially enjoyed the penguin who had an Aquascutum scarf covering his face the whole time.  :xmaslaugh:

Are the Penguins normally there?

I've never seen them before but they could have just been out because it was a little chilly!!!

Don't leave Soup Nazi. I'd prefer 25000 of you than 32000 of people that sit down in silence all game.

Thanks but even positive things about me on this thread will keep bringing it up the page again, please just let this thread die lol.
