Dan Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 If the away fans can't hear an end of 6,000 pulling their weight in terms of atmosphere then I'd be contacting some top scientists as quite frankly we've defied sound.

Haha that is priceless. 6 thou singers in the kop! How have I managed to miss that Leicester have suddenly got the best atmosphere in the country this season. More like 60 than 6000 I'm afraid son.

Considering you said you have to near the away fans to be heard, I was just saying if there were 6,000 in the Kop singing, you would clearly hear them. It'd be great if people realised you don't have to go all LADbible on the away fans. It is possible to create atmosphere without singing shit #BANTER songs to away fans.
Guest Bilo Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 Do people genuinely believe that calling the away fans wankers for 90 minutes adds to the atmosphere? We're not Millwall.
Raj Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 We need to.move the kop with the family stand. Innit!?
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 Do people genuinely believe that calling the away fans wankers for 90 minutes adds to the atmosphere? We're not Millwall. Spot on. I went in K1 for 3 or 4 seasons before I got bored of staring at 800 Bristol City or Middlesbrough fans all game.
The Blue Moon Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 Sorry fellas, I did get told by a couple of lads to be careful on this forum because if you don't tow the line you get banned, if your opinion doesn't match the power tripping mods then they'll delete your posts. With that in mind I'd like to retract everything I've said previously and tell it to you straight: - The Kop at the new ground is amazing, puts the old krazy korner at Filbo to shame. - Union FS is a well known supporter movement. They've got the stadium bouncing and established Leicester as a feared and intimidating place to come to. - L1 is shit. It's full of hooligans and neanderthals who can't string a sentence together let alone a chant. - Kasper Schmeichel is a top class, commanding goalkeeper and a fantastic guy. - Pitch invasions are a terrible thing, which usually result in huge points deductions. - Leicester and Celtic get on just fine. - Leicester supporters are all left wing do gooders who work in the public sector. - Pearson is the messiah, he has never made a bad decision. - We are staying up!

Countesthorpe Fox 1884 Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 I've never understood why people think staring at 40 Yeovil fans will give a good Atmosphere, In SK1 you can hear the away fans loud and clear when they get going, never seem to hear L1 even tho it's closer to SK1. You can have a good atmosphere without the need of away fans.

LcfcBaker Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 That'll be because when away fans get going there's 3000 singing, in L block there's 300 singing, and in SK1 there's 30 singing. I can hear the kop. To be fair you lot in sk1 at the top (standing) always sound decent. The last few games in L1 we've been pretty slow to get going for whatever reason but we do get quite noisy. I keep hearing SK1 is the place to be so keep it up lads. Great support.
Stadt Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 Union FS have repeatedly said that they aren't going to get into a slagging match against L1, they don't want to create a rivalry between our own fans so why should you?

themotivator Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 for the record, when i've sat in SK1, I can see L1 clearly making noise but cant hear anything.
Dom_Harborough Fox Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 As a few people have already mentioned, SK1 & L1 not being able to hear each other means nothing. I hardly ever hear L1 from SK1, probably because we're always singing ourselves, but I don't doubt the people in L block are still going for it the vast majority of the time. It's the same with the away fans. Only time I ever hear them is when there's a lull in the singing in SK1. I don't jump to the conclusion that they're just not singing. Both L1 and SK1 are contributing to a better atmosphere which is the main thing and there's really no need for any of the 'this block's better than that block' stuff.
The Blue Moon Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 What are you trying to achieve here? Bit of sarcasm pal because it seems the Foxestalk elite have deleted a lot of profiles with people who don't agree with their concensus. Surely the point of a forum is to air your views without breaking forum rules like using racism, homophobia, sexism or ageism etc? That's fair enough, but kicking people out because they think SK1 isn't the loudest end in England is a bit harsh.
Dr The Singh Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 Union J are far better then L1 or Union FS, but Original Fosse Boys still rock

Unfortunately every single conversation about it ends up that way.
LCFC Rennie Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 Where has he mocked you or said that he rather there were less noise at KP? All he was saying is that there isn't much noise being made in his opinion? Which is 100% true to be honest. Good idea, but at the end of the day, there is only about 30 of them stood up, they need help from the kop but the kop don't help them at all. And to be honest I can hear SK1 from L1, and the banners look great.
BlueJoe Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 , this is brilliant! Note to you Soup Nazi next time wear blue and you'll blend in a little more! Still don't understand the Penguins... Any clues? Love the fact the stewards tried to round up the 13 of them but managed to get 2!!!
Tommy G Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 I noticed that lad in the red top going up and down the stairs. Surprised he didn't get lamped, he got in one old chaps face about generating atmosphere. I am all for generating a good atmosphere but this was a desperate attempt, made him look like a plank and pissed our own fans off. The new regions were ridiculous too. Shame there are those kind of "fans" that support our club. How can you support if all you do is spend the whole game walking around up and down and in the concourse??

Dan Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 Union FS have repeatedly said that they aren't going to get into a slagging match against L1, they don't want to create a rivalry between our own fans so why should you? I honestly don't think it would be a bad thing if both sections were bigger and did it light heartedly. There are some people in both sections who are determined to put the other down and for what? Bit cringeworthy really. What are you trying to achieve here? Rep.
