Managerial changes tonight , could they be good for city

You see Bruce's face yesterday, looks the same as he did in his last month at Sunderland - worried / defeated / unmotivated. Irvine looks like a man who's just been told "hang on we're tightening the screws on the gallows, might be ready today, if not tomorrow for ya buddy". Bounces only happen with the right man in the right job. Poyet shored up Sunderland, Pulis made Palace believe. Get the wrong guy - Pepe Mel at WBA, Felix Magath at Fulham, Mulensteen at Fulham, Solskjaer at Cardiff, Peter Reid at Leeds, Shearer at Newcastle etc etc and they'll be in even deeper trouble.

When it comes to looking "worried / defeated / unmotivated" managers, our very own Pearson, fits the bill perfectly'

Isn't that about 72 hours old? How Hull are doing, I wonder whether Newcastle would want him at present?

Buddy, on tv down here, I have heard that both Newcastle and WBA, are interested in bringing in Tony Pulis!

Can't trust the tv to be accurate, but I don't want Pulis joining them.

WBA have a very good Academy so Sherwood fits that bill much better than Pulis who shows no interest in that side of things

Chairman at WBA is an Accoutant by trade so can't see him letting Pulis loose with his purse strings

Betting tonight suggests Pulis negotiations not going smoothly at west brom

sherwood short odds as well for that Job and collapsing in the Newcastle job race as well

Like to see sherwood get the west brom job as I'm not sure about him

Pulis will keep them up

Looks like Pulis at WBA. Find that a strange one. Seems To go against the way they've been set up for years. They've also always struck me as more attacking than defensive, guess if he keeps attacking qualities whilst sorting defence then they'll be well clear. Something just doesn't fit for me though.

This is the 1st time I have seen this, but Jamie Carragher laughs when the breaking news came out that Coloccini was favourite to replace Pardew - if this happens, then I think that Newcastle will be in trouble as he has no management experience and he could well be like Shearer in the fact that Newcastle get relegated. But I could be wrong.

Haha, no he doesn't. He looks the same whenever we win lose or draw and that's one of the things people don't seem to like about him.

Shame Pulis has gone WBA, I need them to get relegated for my season bet to come in

There's a first time for everything.

Let's see how well the "unrelegateable" tag sticks to Pulis at West Brom, now that he has been confirmed as Irvine's successor.
