Stuliasz Posted 31 December 2014 Posted 31 December 2014 Consistent Cambiasso Edges Out Mahrez to December Player of the Month lcfcratings.wordpress.com Esteban Cambiasso has won the LCFC Ratings Player of the Month award for December after edging out October's winner Riyad Mahrez with stand-in goalkeeper Ben Hamer some way behind in third. Most players had an inconsistent month as City lost every match bar one with varying levels of performance throughout. However Cambiasso won man of the match on two separate occasions as well as finishing in the top three in two other games with his performance against West Ham the only real disappointment. Each goalkeeper won a man of the match award in their relative appearances for the two away defeats, while Jeff Schlupp's performance against Tottenham saw him not only take the award for that game but also the best individual performance of December. Riyad Mahrez and his matchwinning performance at Hull was just behind and the Algerian's display against Spurs also made the top three. With both Mahrez and Schlupp likely to leave for the African Cup of Nations shortly, it remains to be seen where individual performance levels of this standard will come from during January. The Hull victory was rated the best team performance and managerial performance of December, while Phil Dowd's refereeing in the same game was voted as the best seen in the month. The Pearsonometer had a rollercoaster of a month with significant swings from week to week, fortunately ending on a positive note with two consecutive increases to see the gaffer end the month with close to 90% supporter confidence going into the January transfer window. Dan Posted 31 December 2014 Posted 31 December 2014 How on earth was Man City a better performance than Spurs
ScouseFox Posted 31 December 2014 Posted 31 December 2014 great that despite losing nearly every game we still only gave our opponents more than "average" once.
Guest ttfn Posted 31 December 2014 Posted 31 December 2014 6.21s awfully low for somebody who gets a customary 8.
ADK Posted 31 December 2014 Posted 31 December 2014 No way was Hull a better performance that Spurs and Man City.
Webbo Posted 31 December 2014 Posted 31 December 2014 Thanks for your efforts Stuliaz, much appreciated.
Dickov22 Posted 31 December 2014 Posted 31 December 2014 great that despite losing nearly every game we still only gave our opponents more than "average" once. That's because most football fans are biased
Mark_w Posted 31 December 2014 Posted 31 December 2014 How on earth was Man City a better performance than Spurs We played pretty well against Man City.
The Doctor Posted 31 December 2014 Posted 31 December 2014 We played pretty well against Man City. Yeah, but we battered spurs - 9/10 that ends up with us winning easily
Corky Posted 31 December 2014 Posted 31 December 2014 Love the fluctuations involved with the manager confidence
