Collymore Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 When does he leave? I just saw him on MOTD when all the players were kicking off near the tunnel when James got sent off! I hope it isn't like that dead ww1 pilot who joined in that photo that time...

He would have been a beer and sandwiches man in the boardroom.

Collymore Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 Think your confusing him with Andrew Neville mate Oh **** think you're right.. Tall grey haired fellow I was on about. Always thought he was TR for some reason
gurru991 Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 Lots of players are highly rated in other leagues but when you prove yourself in the premier like Bony has, your value shoots up. Should Ulloa get 16 goals this year his value will shoot up as well. It's the manager or scout who can spot a player in the lesser leagues who he thinks can adapt to the Premier that will make your team a winner. I'm not too sure how much Robinson had to do with this process.

As he was in charge of player acquisition (Pearson and his team identify the targets and leave it to the DoF to obtain them), he could have stopped us from getting the big targets in the summer...
CosbehFox Posted 14 January 2015 Posted 14 January 2015 I don't think we can blame all this on Terry, don't forget we tied up Ulloa pretty early on in the Summer. He also negotiated the bargain of the century for Mahrez. The market is brutal for a newly promoted side, everyone knows you have millions to spend and everyone wants a piece of it. Ulloa and Mahrez took weeks to do. Mahrez deal nearly fell through and Ulloa was about six weeks in total.
