dorsetboy Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 If we lost a bunch of players I still think the core left would get us back up Hamer Schlupp Moore Morgan Simpson Knockers James Drinkwater Allbrighton Ulloa Vardy And that's if we lost Kasper De last Was Cambiasso Mahrez Kramaric Huth So not all doom and gloom and I still refuse to give up this season yet we are only two wins off safety ffs

Also strange omission of Nugent considering he was our top scorer and had our most assists last season. We wouldn't play as well with Ulloa considering our attack was built around the pace and link up play of Nugent and Vardy
dorsetboy Posted 11 February 2015 Author Posted 11 February 2015 Kasper will go I think and I'm sure was said he would like to return to his home before his career ends
JIMMYWILLIS Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 So a team that has turned up in most big games but fails miserably against beatable opposition will either hit championship form in the last 13 or be rejuvenated by "championship" football and walk the league next season??? I'm predicting neither happens
Guest seanfox778 Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 Kasper will go I think and I'm sure was said he would like to return to his home before his career ends Kasper still could have a long career, what is he 28? Goalkeepers can usually play till their late 30's if they stay fit. They don't even have to stay fit, look at Kevin Pressman.

You live in cuckoo land. When are we getting these 6 points then? By the time we do, other teams will have amassed more points. Deluded

Benjani Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 Nothing like a positive attitude. Why don't they just forfeit the rest of the season? it's all over right? Yeah it really is all over. Get it in your head

Mark_w Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 I think we'd do well to keep Ulloa if we go down, and can't see Albrighton staying if the manager I want to be here is here. Pretty confident this would take us back up, Manager: Nigel Pearson Hamer Simpson Morgan (or maybe Upson) Moore (New LB) Knockaert Drinkwater James Schlupp (If we can keep him, if not a new LM) Nugent Ulloa (If we can keep him, if not Vardy) With Kasper (purely because I'd take Hamer over him, not because a Prem team would want him), Huth, Was, Mahrez, Cambiasso, Kramaric ending up elsewhere at the very least. Though if I was manager of a newly promoted side next year I'd probably be putting in bids for Schlupp and Ulloa.
lgfualol Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 Bring in a few youth players if we go down I say
Burbage Fox Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 Bring in Youth... with the current manager you must be joking.. people seem to think he gives youth a chance when its the exact opposite all the Pearson lovers will say he has created a great young team.... go on then.. back 6 last night was the oldest back 6 in living memory, add in Cambiasso and it was probably one of the oldest teams we have ever fielded. How about this in the u21 we have an England left back Ben Chilwell and given our issues in that position has he ever even been near the first team. Nope and in one of the U21 GTF even played.. Most of the Pearson lovers seem to think we will just stroll back after a brief championship encounter... be very careful, speak to Leeds, Wolves, Derby, Blackburn , Wigan, Cardiff etc
dorsetboy Posted 11 February 2015 Author Posted 11 February 2015 Bring in a few youth players if we go down I say Yeah agree there I keep hearing the name harry panteliou and also we have lawrence we bought plus the mighty James Pearson

Wigan & Wolves had managerial changes Keeping the bulk of the squad, a few additions could easily mean we do a Newcastle and parachute payments these days make it even more of an unlevel playing field If you discount those clubs ran by joke owners and there is continuity you have the best chance
Finn Claw II Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 if we go down big decisions to make around the back 5. It's been said elsewhere but really Mahrez, Kram and possibly Ulloa could be sold but only for big fees. Will AC Milan still want Kasper? Huth will presumably return to Stoke. I think the following are out of contract Was, Cambiasso, Konchesky, Knockhart, Hammond, Upson, GTF, Logan, Baka In the championship new contracts for Koncky and Hammond, the rest is a decision about how many of the above still have a season in them or whether we are building for the future.
MrSpaM Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 Leo has scored as many as Raheem Sterling this season If we go down there's no way he's going to stay here
Finn Claw II Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 Squad: Att - Ulloa, Vardy, Nugent, Wood LW/RW - Albrighton, Schlupp, Knockhart CM - James, Dinky Hammond, King FB - Simpson, Deleat CB - Morgan, Moore, GK - Hamer, Schwarzer Bring in CM, LB, CB (or 2) and we have a decent squad.
blueonyou Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 Yeah it really is all over. Get it in your head Going to stop going to matches are you then? may as well stop posting here. Why not support Chelsea instead?

Mark Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 Leo has scored as many as Raheem Sterling this season If we go down there's no way he's going to stay here Let's hope not, I'm not sure many will be impressed with his 2 league goals in the last 20 though, he's been as bad as Vardy and Nugent since Man Utd.
MrSpaM Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 As if Going down doesn't bother me. I just think we're definitely relegated As if what?

Cambiasso has an option for an extra year... so if no one comes in for him he will could take it just like GTF did Mahrez is the biggest asset, he could go to anywhere in Europe, Kram too if he scores goals during the run-in, but in joining us would know relegation was a real possibility so may stay Can't see Knockaert staying, he thinks he should be playing for Newcastle or Chelsea already, but don't see he's a hot asset anyway Can't see us being able to offload Kasper given his top flight performances so we'll be stuck with him, unless he wants to bench warm elsewhere Baka, Logan & GTF will obviously be able to leave Not sure on Upson's ability to see another season out And Hammond, Was & Konch would depend on management decision, but realistically they'd be blocking progress of younger players or talented U21s signed from elsewhere James, Knocky, Drinkwater, RDL style
Benjani Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 As if what? Who's going to want him. He's wank.
