He played his part last year and you could argue he earned his extension regardless to his apps, he seems like a good guy, fairly recent top level experience and an all round good guy to have with the kids. I also doubt his wages are huge or a drain. There was me thinking we were a professional Premier League football club rather than a retirement village on the Costa Brava.

I don't think City registered GTF in their January 25 man squad (he was in the August squad). A few people speculated at the time, that he would be soon on his way out on loan.
