a large part due to with lining their pockets. which i suspect a certain someone may be benefiting from going by some of the bizarre signings we've done in the last 7 or so years.

dunno about that. i just think rudkin is one of those sleazy guys you see in business/life who's basically groomed him (psychologically) and top is blind to his deficiencies. I'd imagine he utilized his dad's death as the catalyst. i've mentioned it on here before but i spoke to someone years ago who was close to the club (rodgers tenure) and he had nothing nice to say about Rudkin. said he was a nasty person.
