  1. No - Spurs down is much higher entertainment value than cov being trounced each week
  2. I am one of those people - after 30 years. I think ive posted these thoughts before, but for me, its a few things and not just current dreadful managemnt of club, team perfromance and apathetic players...those things can be cyclic and we can build again. Rather it's more that football has become boring and sanatised. The passion and excitement may not have wholly gone but its increasing rare. How many times have i been out of my seat in the last two seasons...if at all. Combine that with an increasing attitude from the club to treat us as customers rather than fans and supporters and all that that brings (I would say that, in my experience, most of the staff are lovely by the way). The sense is that we 'legacy' fans are not at the heart of football anymore and i dont see that changing...rather i sense increasing commercialisation and an 'americanisation'.................. Its quite depressing when its given so much joy over the years
  3. Depends on what funds are like. If we are going to struggle to bring good players in then if hes done a good job of turning things around then yes keep. If financially there are real opportunities for improvement and real credible ambition then i think its worth holding fire and seeing whats out there. Thats not a no, but it is a 'depends'
  4. some positives in that despite result and chances. Onwards and upwards - lets go!!
  5. 30 years a season ticket holder and I won’t be renewing. My reasons are less about current trials and tribulations- everything is cyclic for clubs our size -and just more about football in general. It’s over hyped and marketed and more boring than it’s ever its just not the fun it used to be and whilst I will still follow Leicester I’ve realised I’ve fallen out of love with it. Sad, but what a trip it’s been… wouldn’t change it for the world but now’s the time
  6. That’s always mystified me as well
  7. Love a bit of positivity in the face of adversity Or the obvious but biggest of the lot. We went down to the 3rd tier of football for the first time in the clubs history and yet within a few years won the Premier League, the FA cup, the Charity Shield and reach the quarter finals of the Champions League. Things are bad (ok - things are REALLy bad) but they can turn around. I believe King Powers time is up at the club - everything runs its course in time - and I believe change is necessary to excise what seems to be a rotten core that runs through the club at the moment. That said, I fully recognise that all the positives in the first part of this post were done under their tenure and I got to enjoy all of them with multiple generations of my family. I may want change but i will do it respectfully because in my opinion they have earnt it.
  8. Nothing to do now but crack on. Booing and all that stuff, no matter how you feel, does zero to help the situation. Whatever we think of certain players, or the board, Trump or Putin or whoever else, we need our best on the pitch playing in a supportive and loud atmsophere. Weve been here before and weve turned it around. Youire entitled to do what you like of course, but its for all to play their part till the end of the season to give us our best chance
  9. Ahhh....those were the days!!!
  10. This thread is so depressing. I'm keeping my hopes up that its not one pereson on that bookies favourites list.
  11. My all time fave manager here, but now is not the time for a return
  12. Far to sensible and rational post. Not sure what you are thinking posting it here
  13. I agree - He should be effective at this level and at the very least a decent option of the bench. Hes been injured and nobody was going to shine last year. Give him a chance and judge in a few months
  14. This was the game after which I was expecting rogers to be gone (and he shopuld have been gone). From the stands it was much much worse than anything you'd get from TV.
  15. Agreed. Whats most important is current and future collective capability not individual personalities and historical antics. That means we have have to be uber pragmatic when dealing with one or two for sure. Always a possibility that Faes still moves on as the window in Turkey remains open(?)
