haraven Posted 22 July 2009 Posted 22 July 2009 Football fans generally have a soft spot for a few other football teams especially from other countries, which are yours? My local team from boyhood is Rosenborg here in Norway, I follow them daily along with Leiecster City. Teams I have a soft spot for, and cheer on as long as it does not conflict with my LCFC or RBK priorities are: Germany: FC St.Pauli Scotland: Celtic Italy: AS Roma Spain: Barcelona
Edmund Posted 22 July 2009 Posted 22 July 2009 Holland : Ajax, ADO Den Haag, PSV Italy : Fiorentina, Triestina
Edmund Posted 22 July 2009 Posted 22 July 2009 The End. Still can't believe they closed it. :appl: Il add The Sanctuary to that list. Bloody MK Dons. Is Junction 21 still open
James. Posted 22 July 2009 Posted 22 July 2009 Dunno but I've bought my tickets for the Shogun Audio night at Lightbox which looks like an amazing new club. Spectrasoul added to the line up as well. I'm a bit out of touch but I hear that can only be a good thing.
Shrenchel Posted 22 July 2009 Posted 22 July 2009 They actually put on any decent nights in that Centro place that took over The End? Aint been to London for a minute.

To be honest I didn't even know it'd had reopened as Centro, thought they were turning it into offices. Just read that apparently they've kept the same sound system which makes me very tempted to check out a night there.

Tommy G Posted 22 July 2009 Posted 22 July 2009 I quite like Tottenham. saw them last year in the carling Cup semi at White Hart lane, sat behind the goal (well I say sat, stood the whole game) Brilliant atmosphere. times better than you would get anywhere in the walkers

Not gunna be much better than what you get down the Walkers I'd imagine.

Yeh, but Spurs' new stadium will have the fans closer to the pitch than any other ground in the Prem, I think, so surely it should have a good atmosphere. I see your point though.
haraven Posted 22 July 2009 Author Posted 22 July 2009 York City, Notts County (doesnt everyone?) I thought Notts County and their lovely manager Sirrel back in the 70s were great ... but now that they have a Sven amongst them I am politcally, culturally and personally obliged to rather have them on my dislike list.

Not gunna be much better than what you get down the Walkers I'd imagine. The whole lower tier of the ground was standing and singing throughout the whole game. It was a complete sell out and the atmosphere was electric, shame I didn't know any of the songs
