mmarkie Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 I think the team should be unchanged but if Hendrie is injured bring in SUPER BARRY HAYLES!!!! on the left-wing. So i think it should be: GK:Henderson 31 RB:Stearman 17 CB:Macauley 05 CB:Kisnorbo 03 LB:Clapham 11 RM:Bell 09 CM:Oakley© 26 CM:Wesolowski 14 LM:Hendrie 35 ST:Hayles 24 ST:Hume 07 Subs: Alnwick 21 N'gotty 04 Howard 38 Laczko 32 DJ 10

SamL Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 Henderson Stearman Kisnorbo Mcauley Mattock Bell Oakley Weso Hayles Hume Howard Subs: Dj, J.Chambers, Bruno, Alnwick. Clapham. Personally, I don't think Clapham played particularly well yesterday. Providing Hendrie isn't fit, I'd play Barry on the wing. If Hendrie's fit, I'd play Hayles up top with Hume with Hendrie on the left.
mmarkie Posted 20 April 2008 Author Posted 20 April 2008 Hayles in for Howard otherwise unchanged. Yeah i was thinking that but then I didn't know whether Hendrie was injured or not so i'll probably have that now.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 I looked at the players lining up yesterday and wouldn't have changed a single one of them. And then a bloody substitute goes and plays them all off the park.

Hendrie - I think we've got to the stage of the season where players may as well play through slight knocks rather than be rested St. Howard St. Hume Subs Hayles - I think his industry works better as a sub from what I've heard. Thinking back over the ratings threads, the games where he has started people generally have not noted as much good things about him. 4 others
Tevez Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 Never change a winning team, but if Hendrie is injured Hayles to come in.

I reckon keeping Sir Barry as our secret weapon to unleash on the opponents later in the game works a treat.... they don't know what's hit 'em!
Webbo Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 I'd probably stick with the same team unless Hendrie is injured in which case I'd play Mattock on the left. Bring on Hayles as a sub if we are in trouble.
BigGibbo Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 Same team except Mattock in for Clapham, Im happy keeping hayles as a half time super sub.
Jack Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 I'd put Hayles in for Howard. If Hendrie is injured then bring in either Lazcko or Mattock.
Father Ted Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 Same team but Hayles for Hendrie if he's injured. Also Mattock for Clapham

We need the win, so Hayles MUST start. Especially as he's been our top player in the last two games.

clazkel Posted 21 April 2008 Posted 21 April 2008 Remind me, how many goals has Fryatt scored this year? Not many, but we look a better team when he plays. Fryatt and Hume are on the same wave length, unlike Hume and Howard. Hume will score the goals and Fryatt will create. When do you ever see Howard linking with any of the strikers? I don't think he does, whereas Hume and Fryatt have an understanding and seem to read each other.

After winning a vital game away from home and after decent performances from our starting strikers plus an arguable man of the match performance from substitute Hayles (or Hume) I reckon you could risk a lot of money on Fryatt having no chance of starting. Holloway seems quite reactive when people cock-up and Fryatt's miss against Colchester - never mind his scoring record as far back as I can be bothered to remember - won't have helped his cause at all.
Ric Flair Posted 21 April 2008 Posted 21 April 2008 Same team but Hayles for Hendrie if he's injured. Also Mattock for Clapham DEAL
