Sainsbury do awesome sausage, I'm not a massive fan of sausages but these sausages are just brilliant. No grissle, Not very fatty, They do a few different ones I think, They definetly do Garlic ones (there the best) then Beef and ten Pork, Not sure if they do any others.

It's not all about length.

Lincolnshire's got the girth over the Cumberland.

What was the other 15%?

Have you actually double-checked the ingredients!?!?!?

The other day I spotted some "Bernard and Matthew's 100% turkey" on the supermarket shelves.

When I read the ingredients, I noticed that turkey made up about 80% of the product

Talk about false advertising...

Sausages have to have 'other' ingredints or they'd be dry and pork choppy!! It's ususally any or all of breadcrumbs, wine, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, chilli's, tomatoes, apples etc...

Plus the skin!

I would say Lincolnshire but the butcher in Syston does some Gloucster sausages which are out of this world.

Not a huge fan of sausages, to be honest. But Tesco's Finest Pork and Apple ones are pretty good.

There the ones I was on about earlier in the thread!

Had some for breakfast/dinner today, Beautiful! Toulouse one's are definetly the best but the Beef/Pork ones are not far behind.

if i can pass on one piece of useful advice in my life it would be; 'never eat tesco value, asda smart price or sainsbury's everyday(or whatever its called) sausages they are bleeding awful. face, snout, testicles ears and foreskins does not count as meat in my book

Amen to that.

Not a patch on Lincolnshire though.

which are full of face and beaks and some 'herbs'. are they made in NK? it would answer a lot of questions

I don't understand why sausages should include things like apple. Pork, leek and Stilton? WTF? :dunno:

Lincolnshire and Cumberland are as adventurous as I get, but I cannot remember which I prefer. My favourite, to be honest, are the Richmonds plain pork sausages, which are no doubt full of the stuff Mr Roachford mentioned.
