Stevosevic Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 You dont get promoted with results like this, very poor.

Ozwin Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 Carl Cort? >_> What's he playing at? De Vries and Hume up front with Kaebi on the right. Simple as.

Stevosevic Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 He wasn't fooking managing the team today! Yes he was, he did everything except choose the first eleven, he made the substitutions.
City_4_Life Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 Dissapointed with the result. We should of held onto the lead againts, what sounded like, a poor QPR side.
Scaramanga! Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 To be honest, after having 1 full day with the team, i don't think Megson would have ad any scope to pick the team, so blaming him isn't really feasible. It wasn't a terrible performance and by the sounds of things that goal came out of nothing. We just gotta learn to press when we're ahead. Roll on Forest.
Lets Be having You Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 He wasn't fooking managing the team today! get it right m8 he did not pick the team but he was running the show
Ozwin Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 Who waits until the 90th minute to replace the worst player on the pitch with one of our most consistant strikers? >_> And where was our new Portugese beast? Not to mention Kaebi.
Lets Be having You Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 steve walsh, has just said megsons changes lost us the game
Dames Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 No excuse. We really should start beating the lower teams. We always think its gunna be a walk in the park and we always end up getting Humiliated. Its been the same shit for 3 seasons now.
Lisburn Fox Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 Gutted not a complete disaster IF we learn to hold on we could do something, last minute at Palace and todays panicking has cost us top 2 spot of the early CCC.
Bert Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 Megson wasn't in charge. He didn't take the half time talk. I thought Levi Porter was class today always looking to atack and take his man on. Everyone got stuck in well today to be honest. Cort should've have came off with about 20 minutes to go, he was clearly tired, he won a lot in the air, but his touch was appaling. Apart from the first 10 minutes and a 10 minute spell before we scored in the 2nd half, we were distinctly average today. Too many high balls aimed towards DJ, when it should've been to Cort.

Bert Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 yes he was his interview on rl,he said he told them at half time to keep going etc. So why was he standing in the dugout?
Moreton Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 Im annoyed, but i think come a few weeks on and megson has worked his magic on the training ground it could be a very different scene here at city. It was rudkins game today not megson's so really hes not had his first game incharge, hes only been here for a day.
Joe. Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 Threw it away far too easily <_< At 0-0 QPR never looked like they could even score in a brothel. We sat back and invited the pressure, and eventually the goal. And what were the substitutions about?
Lets Be having You Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 So why was he standing in the dugout? well go listen to his post match inter view then come back and let me kno
Simi Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 I thought Levi Porter was class today always looking to atack and take his man on. Everyone got stuck in well today to be honest. I disagree mate. I thought Porter was poor today, same old issue with him I think, always gets knocked around and seems to be off the pace all the time, but to be fair he hasn't exactly had a lot of match practice lately. No doubt about who kept us in the match, Fulop. He made some very brave saves and a couple of great stops to keep us in the match towards the end. Not only Fulop but McAuley and Kisnorbo did very well I thought. Cort still looks a bit away from his best which I suppose is understandable, his touch was fairly poor.
Bluefoxtim Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 What a boring game. We just kept hoofing the ball up to the strikers (who did nothing with it) on the few occasions we did keep the ball on the floor we looked a lot more threatening. Seemed our style of play had turned a corner when MA came in, now we have just done a U-turn.
DB11 Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 Carl Cort was really poor. I can't believe that I actually wanted MDV to come on we were that desperate! Anyway, their goal was decent but we should really have scored more than we did. Also it was one of the most dull and boring games I've seen this season
