Guest lcfc80 Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 I've just written a full preview for the Next Leicester City Manager Betting, some very interesting odds. Rafa Benitez 20/1 looks interesting Ole Gunnar Solksjaer 25/1 Carlo Ancelotti 33/1 All interesting odds there for those 3. Who will you be betting on? Not who do you want, but who will you be backing? I might stick a little bet on Rafa myself

cc_star Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Someone who knows the league narrows it down to Billy Davies, and a few other non-entities I think Davies could motivate slightly lesser players to play above themselves and compete near the top of the table, not sure if he has the record of working with mollycoddled players who already think they're quality. Hopeful for O'Neill - even if that is a distant hope, not sure on anyone else. Nervous times especially if that useless twat BrollyMan is mentioned.

seymour Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 SkyBet have just dropped Lee Clark in to 7/4. MON out to 13/8. Hughes out to 5/2
Guest lcfc80 Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 even the best odds on him are around 25/1 so i wouldn't panic there, yet. might be a sign, might not but Sky Bet have just slashed Lee Clark from 8/1 earlier today (was 4/1 when i did the write up) to 7/4
Guest lcfc80 Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 into 5/4 now although i will urge caution on this as Sky Bet slashed Alan Pardew to 3/1 stirring up the next premier manager to leave their job betting market last month, Newcastle are now about 4th i think in the league
gibraltarfox Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Still at 10's with Stan James so someones probably stuck a massive punt on and they want to balance their book. Big money punters generally don't have inside info or common sense so I wouldn't read much into it.
davieG Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Lee Clark now 5/4 favourite with Skybet apparently
aggy_fox Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Have I missed something but why hasn't anyone mentioned Darren Ferguson? Done a great job with Peterborough, knows the league and has links with Man Utd
Fox92 Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 SkyBet have just dropped Lee Clark in to 7/4. MON out to 13/8. Hughes out to 5/2 Lee Clark now 5/4 favourite with Skybet apparently Lee Clark has dismissed reports linking him to the Leicester job. I thought he would, why would he want to chuck out 40 unbeaten games and the squad he has built up? I think he'll stay and get Huddersfield up (hopefully). Have I missed something but why hasn't anyone mentioned Darren Ferguson? Done a great job with Peterborough, knows the league and has links with Man Utd I haven't mentioned him, generally because I don't want him.
Nick Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Read between the lines. Clark has come out and said he will not be applying. That's mighty different to us making a request to approach.
Happy Fox Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Read between the lines. Clark has come out and said he will not be applying. That's mighty different to us making a request to approach. I have a feeling Lee Clark is our second choice.
Guest lcfc80 Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 if anyone still fancies O'Neill then Stan James have him now at a massive 8/1
Wherethefoxhat? Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 if anyone still fancies O'Neill then Stan James have him now at a massive 8/1 Hmmm......

Super_Fox_Boy Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 Jimmy Willis - YES. I'm joking of course.
lcfclee1978 Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 theres some serious money on lee clark people
stoatish Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 Not that I want him as manager but I'm surprised there are no odds for Keegan on that odds checker list.
Head Honcho Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 Lee Clark should stay at Huddersfield anything else would be a disaster for both clubs. He should get them promoted from League 1 at his fourth attempt!
